Welcome to Eltingville creator returns to Adult Swim

evan dorkinHere's some totally awesome news. Well, I think it's cool anyway. Evan Dorkin, creator of the very short-lived animated series Welcome to Eltingville, has just signed on for a new Adult Swim pilot called Tyrone's Inferno. Evan talks about it on his Live Journal, but doesn't give a lot of information as to what exactly the heck the show is about. It also seems he's got a few other fish to fry before they delve into the pilot, so who knows when we'll see it? If it's as good as the single episode of Welcome to Eltingville that aired on Adult Swim, I think it will be worth the wait, however long that happens to be. According to this, the show was originally called Tyrone, Lord of the Undead and will take place in the same universe as Welcome to Eltingville.

If Adult Swim were smart they would get rid of the artisy, semi-funny shows that hardly anyone watches and pay for another season of a real winner like
futurama. I can't get enough of that show!
