I think Teri Hatcher is probably a very nice, intelligent person ... but...

I think Teri should be paid whatever she manages to get. You have not because you ask not. If she can talk (or sell her merits) well enough then so be it. Maybe the others should try it also. You do that whatever job you are doing I also like Teri Hatcher. I think her part is funny and she plays it well.

I was shocked. The best part about her acting is it that it's so bad I know when to head to the bathroom.

Don't get me wrong, I love Teri Hatcher. I am a huge Lois and Clark fan but I personally feel that as highest paid actresses go, Patricia Arquette on Medium. That show is phenomenal and so is she in it. I also think Geena Davis in Commander-in-Chief should be getting paid as well, she's pratically carrying the show with the exception of Donald Sutherland.

Lauren Graham could be the highest paid woman on television if she was paid by the word.

Seriously, I think you people bashing women like this is not good. Women are already making lower salaries than men in this world. There are a billion men who get paid higher salaries and do not deserve it. What makes Teri Hatcher any different? If so many men can get away with getting undeserved higher salaries, why can't women? As far as I'm concerned, Teri Hatcher does deserve the money. I like Eva Longoria too and I think she should get paid well too. I think it depends on who is liked the most or gets the most lines, maybe. Whatever the reason, GO Teri for being a strong, independent leader fighting for her right to make a better income. And besides, salaries are also dependent on how much experience you've had on your resume. Maybe she has a longer resume than the others, as far as the number of hit shows they've had. She may look dumb, but she's highly intelligent. Was a Math major in college and both her parents are computer experts or scientists or something. I have my criticisms of Teri too (as far as her face and how it's kinda aged weird, maybe it's botox or something), but I do kinda like her, and I've always thought she was the prettiest for many, many years.


By the way, she looks ethnic. What ethnicity is she anyway?

I vote for the Ladies on WB " THE CHARMED ONES ". Holly Marie Combs as PIPER, Alyssa Milano as PHOEBE, and Rose McGowan as PAIGE deserved more then what they got and lets not leave out Kaley Cuoco as BILLIE, and Shannen Doherty as PRUE. They should have had more respect for the show . Winners of the FIRST ALL WOMEN AWARD IN A SERIES . Will miss they . My Vote goes to them.

Good for Terri; however, the question shouldn't be why is Terri Hatcher getting paid the most as a women. It ought to be why aren't women being paid as much as the men on TV. Others that deserve big raises are Marcia Cross, Jennifer Garner, Jaime Pressley (My Name is Earl), Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), Emily Deschanel (Bones), Jean Smart (24), Debra Messing, Jenna Elfman, Mariska Hargitay, and the women on Battlestar Galactica, Grey's Anatomy, and Lost just to name a few.

The american society is doomed. Actresses make 300k+ a show? Does anyone see something wrong with this?

I personally think it's disgusting that anyone gets paid this much to be on TV - no matter how beautiful or talented they think they are. I can think of much more noble and talented professions than being an actress. Being an actress only requires you to keep up with your plastic surgery and occasionally memorize some lines...while making the worst relationship decisions I have ever seen in my life. Not really too tough of a job. The boy that mows my lawn works harder.
