Did Abdul invent assault story to avoid embarrassment?

It seems to me that this writer more or less lives on human difficulties and it is as if there is not enough misery for them, so they are perfectly willing to make something up. They said "what if" in their write up so it is obvious they don't know one way or the other.
But people on this blog are taking it as gospel and making some really terrible remarks as they jump to their own conclusions. Are our lives really so far gone that we need to feed on someone elses misery and put them down in order to feel some weird form of self esteem ourselves?
Her account sounds true to me. There are people who prey on people at parties, in the parking lot, in there place after they get you home, etc. etc.
It is not unuasual at all to be met in the parking lot, by a male sexual predator, stalked, you name it. What a coup if you can brag to your cronies how you put the make on a star.
Females are not beyond this either. I was met outside a vegas club, invited to a trist with a beautiful young lady, and was just under the weather enough to accept. I was drugged and robbed and did not realize my billfold was empty until I got backa to my room. That is part of the problem with a lifestyle that I no longer have anything to do with. If you sleep with dogs, you wake up with flees.

From some of the comments I see on this blog. A lot of us need to get a life. Yes, Paula may be included, but being so judgmental of some far out their possibility that she has made this up is no excuse for dancing in our own gutter as they we were so much better than she.

We went into Iraq supposedly to search and destroy weapons of mass destruction (none ever described as nuclear), and found none, despite the heavy toll in death and injury. Now we have neighboring Iran proclaiming that it has made nuclear advances, yet we are more concerned with pursuing diplomacy rather than force. And we're wondering whether Paula Abdul is in need of help? What about those who formulate our foreign policy?

I think Paula has proven herself to be a real mess. She can't handle her personal life, she looks like she's on drugs or alcohol constantly, and on American Idol, has proven she can't tell the truth. If it were up to her, they'd all be Idols. They all can't be the best...can they?

Paula's a pathetic has been who has allowed herself to be misused by the public....it's her own choice how she plots out her journey. It's a good thing she's making money on this show now....she has no other way to make a living....

I believe that, unfortunately, Paula either has a drinking or drug problem or both. I was not prone to believing it until I saw her on Jay Leno this week. I cannot begin to describe her and the way she acted. Maybe there is something on the internet that shows a video of her.
