CSI: Miami - Dead Air

CSI: Miami; CBS(S04E21) Five episodes to go until the season finale and it's all coming together. Storylines are starting to show some answers and the tension that's existed between Delko and Wolfe all season is reaching it's boiling point.

The opening for the episode was a little cheesy. They ripped it right from that film Cellular. Some kidnapped woman gets a hold of a phone and dials a random number when she meant to call her husband. Fortunately, the person who did get the call happened to be standing about 30 feet from Horatio. That was convenient.

The story at this point got to be a little confusing. It was easy to lose track because every five minutes someone else suddenly became involved with the kidnapping. First the husband, then the man she was having an affair with. Then there was that guy's buddy and don't forget the bartender that got recruited after that. I think they even made it seem like the husband's boss was involved at some point too. See? Confusing. But in the end, Horatio found the woman and she was alive. Happy ending... at least for the case.

The real meat of this episode was going on at the lab. Wolfe has developed quite the crush for Natalia and even asks Delko if it's ok. Remember, Delko was with her for a while but he told Wolfe it was over and that he could have "the green light." Natalia on the other hand thought they were still an item, but had decided to take it slow. Naturally she was pretty angry with Delko but she took Wolfe up on his offer (Mexican wrestling tickets) anyway. The real kicker was when Wolfe had to borrow money from Delko because he didn't have time to stop by an ATM. Before the season is over, we're going to see these two really go it, fists flying. It's only a matter of time. There's just too much animosity between the two of them and it's funny, because I don't really remember how it all started in the first place.

Elsewhere, Horatio is still maintaining a relationship (I think we're to assume it's romantic) with Marisol, Delko's sister. H has been taking her to her chemo sessions. She tells Horatio that she plans to stop after the next treatment. So I think it's safe to say that we won't be seeing Marisol around much longer. She's made her peace and seems to be alright with her decision. Horatio says he'll support her, but I'm thinking that once she starts to decline he might think otherwise. This doesn't look like it will end well though.

The song at the end of the episode is by a new UK artist named Richard Walters, called "All At Sea."

I've been looking all over for the same info- I loved that song that was playing at the very end of this episode and I've no idea who it is. Anyone?

Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing at the end when Horatio was holding Marisol's hand at the hospital? It's bugging me to death.

Thanks...

The tensions between Delko and Wolfe really started heating up when Wolfe was involved with that female TV reporter and started getting all the press attention, while Wolfe started suspecting that Delko had a drug problem (when he was buying pot and papers for Marisol).

Watching that episosde last night was as boring as your description of same. "67 seven channels and nuthin' on" ! Wussup ? It's like I have to wait for football and the fall season new shows to start ? Is there a pill for this?

She's not stopping her chemo to die. She's stopping her chemo to have a baby. Whether she can have her baby before the cancer kills her is another question.

I think the tension between Delko and Wolfe all started because Wolfe took over for Speedle after he died. That started it and the two have been bickering like an old married couple ever since. Maybe there is some brokeback mountain love burning under the surface? Okay. Maybe not.

I wish the hospital that Merisol was getting her chemo at was around here...that place looked like a Spa!

Yea, that was kind of cheesy but I'd still rather watch that episode over and over then have to watch "Prison Break". How many episodes can you watch about someone try to get out of prison...I mean...really.
