Sorry, I just laughed throughout this entire episode. I guess there's just something really funny about gay dogs getting married and a giant gold statue of Dig 'Em, the Sugar Smacks mascot.

Brian's gay cousin Jasper comes to town with his boyfriend Ricardo, and the family meets them at the airport, which gives Stewie a chance to bypass security and go to the air traffic controllers tower. He takes over for one of the workers and tells Matthew McConaughey's private plane that they can't land, even if they are out of fuel.

Meanwhile, Mayor West dedicates a statue of the Sugar Smacks mascot, as a tribute to our fallen troops overseas. This angers the citizens, so as a distraction, the Mayor bans gay marriage, putting a serious crimp in Jasper's plans to marry Ricardo. Brian decides to try and change the Mayor's mind, which confuses Chris, who is in love with a girl in the Young Republicans Club. (Side note: why didn't Bill Clinton have any genitalia?).

Brian goes door to door to find support for gay marriage, but is having trouble. The Young Republican chick asks Chris to stop Brian from trying to get signatures -- if he does, she'll let him touch her boobs. Chris isn't sure if this is a good thing or not, but she assures him, it is. With his combed hair and blue suit, Chris looks like a young Rush Limbaugh.

Lois goes to church to talk about her stance on homosexuals.  The priest shows her a film strip "from God," which includes a scene where a doctor finds out that gays actually have acid in their bodies instead of blood. (Whoa.)

Lois tells Brian she doesn't believe in gay marriage. Brian takes the signatures (he had to get 10,000 more because Chris burned the first list) to Mayor West, who refuses to look at it. Brian grabs the guard's gun and holds the Mayor hostage. The police surround the building and the media swarms in. Mayor West starts to vomit rubber rafts and People magazines (don't ask) in order to wait out any potential hostage situation.

The media calls Brian a "crazed homosexual gunmen." Lois didn't realize that Brian was so strong in his belief. Lois has an argument with her parents about the way she was brought up ("Hah! Gay marriage! The next thing you know they'll want to vote! - Lois' dad). There's also a really sick joke here involving Elizabeth Smart. It was funny as hell!

Peter goes to talk to Brian, while Lois uses a megaphone to apologize to Brian and get him to surrender. Mayor West decides that since Brian distracted everyone from the statue long enough, so he tears up the gay marriage ban.

At the end, Peter uses his new Italian catch phrase/accent, and the audience howls with laughter.

Quote, from Lois: "I don't have anything against homosexuals. I'll watch almost anything David Schwimmer is in."

The Clinton part was the funniest thing i've ever seen.
Having more of Adam West in the show is also hilarious.

I seriously think South Park has ruined this show for me. I didn't laugh once and I really started to think this episode was written by manatees, I'm depressed. One of my fav shows has vanquished another, crap.

Brian (watching Sex and the City with two gay guys): "So this show is about three hookers and their mom?"

Not Bitter

If the answer to "what is your favorite
Madonna album?" is anything other than
"I have never bought a Madonna album".
Youv'e got a gay.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but this was one of the least entertaining episodes I've seen in a while. Maybe I'm just tiring of their format. I hate all the, "hey that's like the time something totally unrelated happened" scenes.

Simpsons is still the best. cartoon. ever!

Jay Leno should take notes; this is how to do gay jokes that are funny.

I like that this episode didn't have too much Peter in it. Sometimes I think they rely on him too much.
