Thanks for scaring the hell out of me, ABC

Bird fluIs ABC trying to freak out their audience? I just saw a preview for their May Sweeps flick Fatal Contact: Bird Flu In America. Jeez, people shaking hands and getting sick, millions dead, the military called in, the President making a dire annoucement. Sure, it's all possible, but I just get this sick feeling that ABC is trying to scare us. Avian Flu plus May Sweeps = ratings gold!

I just hope the movie is a little bit more responsible than what I've seen in the previews. I mean, what about the kids watching? What about the health care professionals? And for God's sake, What About Brian?

These scare tactics is insane. I will not watch the United 93 Movie or this piece of crap to scare and depress us even more!
I watch only what is entertaining..I get to see and hear all the sadness and shocking events of the day I want on the National News! Yes, make sure your children are right in front of the set on this one...scheduled their shrink appoinment! I think the entertainment industry has lost their minds!

My wife works in a pharmacy and she is just bracing for the onslaught of people coming in who think they are sick because of this campy crap.

And why oh why do we have a Nip/Tuck-ian in this schlock?
