Prison Break: Tonight

by Keith McDuffee, posted May 1st 2006 11:24PM
prison break(S01E20) For all the times I've been down on this show, tonight made up for it all. The tension has come to an all-time high in this episode, and it's almost unfathomable that there's still two seasons episodes to sit through before the season ends. I have to admit that I didn't see some of what happened coming, especially the ending. But hey, I did have at least a close guess on what happened to Bellick.

By the way, I got a couple of tips in tonight wondering why they didn't break out yet. There's actually two more episodes left guys, so there's a little time left. I'm actually hearing that most of the guys get out in the next episode, and the last episode is what happens right afterward.

I'm still trying to figure out where Tweener fits into this whole game. Michael knows something about him, and he's not just looking out for him anymore. I'm guessing that once they make it to the outside, we'll find that Michael knows something about the kid's background, something that they can all use.

I think Westmoreland is likely one who'll be left behind, because there's no way that old man will be able to shuffle across that wire and over the wall.

Although things on the outside are heating up, I'm still finding it difficult to focus on what's going on there. Really, the most interesting part of this show is the prison escape and those who're trying to break out. Everything else just seems too secondary. For the sake of next season, I hope they beef up that part of this story and make us more excited to see what happens next.

Hi Guys, I live in South Africa and we watched the "go" episode last night (13/06/2006) Can anybody please give me some more spoilers as to what is happening in the "flight" episode (I think this is our (SA) last episode of season 1. My nerves can not take it anymore. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!

episode 21

Just as theyre getting out of the uniforms, guess who happens upon them. Its Haywire! His photographic memory retained the layout and he made his own way from the hatch in the coal room of the Psych ward through the tunnels. Along the way, he met Bellick and stole his gun and walkie-talkie and reached the infirmary by the safer route. Michael, Lincoln and Westmoreland try to reason with him, but its always dangerous reasoning with a psycho, but its Tweener that tries to sneak up on him and disarm him and The others gang up on Haywire, disarm him and knock him out. Michael doesnt want to leave Westmoreland, but theres no way he can carry on and he tells Michael Go, and dont look back.

^Even Rocky had a montage!

That's all I thought of at the end.

And yes, it was the song used as the House theme.

I didn't see this episode, and I'm not overly familiar with Massive Attack's work, but I'm pretty sure that the song that played at the end of the West Wing's 'Commencement' was called Angel.

I agree with you guys this was a fantastic episode , but the ending theme ... they abused the looping, the song is perfect in its regular way , no need to play around with it like they did. Teardrop must be one of the most used tracks on tv history because I remember several shows playing it and specially for the finales. It was the season finale song for the amazing West Wing episode where they take Zoe.

Why didn't Michael confront Tweener? Does he feel guilty about not helping Tweener after Tween stole the watch? Does he feel guilty about Tween getting raped? I mean, he did save him from T-Bag, even though Tween doesn't know that. At least now, maybe Tween realizes his only hope is keeping his mouth shut and escaping with the group.

Personally, i think micheal knew it was Tweeneer the moment westmoreland told him about ballick. and i think the only reason why the use Tweener is as a scapegoat or a diversion. No more mister niceguy.

Wait till Sara finds out that Michael neglected to tell her that Linc isn't the only one he's busting out.

Bellick lives with his mother!
