As frustrating as Chloe's personality is to deal with, it's pretty clear that she will continue to be the woman in Jack's life that really keeps his clock ticking, even if she's not the one sleeping with him at the moment. It's also super apparent that she's either one of the more smart people I've ever come across on a television show, or she just gets a lot of credit for knowing which sockets to open.
Now I could be wrong, but Mrs. Logan (OMG I almost wrote Sherry) might not make it through this season. I could certainly see her doing in Logan to keep him from finalizing his dastardly plan, but I could probably see the reverse just as much. Well, except she doesn't have a dastardly plan, at least as far as I can tell. It's getting harder to believe that this is the same show that started off with terrorists hitting an airport and whacking CTU agents, but apparently it is. I've also got this sneaking suspicion that there is more to come from the terrorist boys and Henderson than just the foiled nerve gas and such.
Does Chloe's zapping of the annoying, drunk hotel bar patron (twice, no less) while she's getting her VoIP on with Jack win for the wackiest moment for this show of the season so far (or maybe for FOX as a whole), or does Jack's killing of a terrorist with his Treo still take the cake? I don't know about you, but the look on her face was flat out priceless. Yet again, this was an episode that would have been fun to watch with government employees in the areas that CTU and Homeland Security cover, just to see if everyone is as easily swayed as every single boss of these organizations, because Karen most certainly swung the other direction, or maybe she just has a small thing for Bill Buchanan.
This all leads us to what might be the most important "I've got Jack Bauer, what have you got?" question out there. Is it possible for him to either keep a plane not made for evasive maneuvers from crashing, or survive a missile strike on an airliner, only to save the day? It's not every day the President of the United States is told to shoot down a plane, and apparently goes through with it, when attempting to save his own skin, right?
