I think Jennifer Tilly should do pretty well for a couple of reasons. She was taught to play Poker by Phil "The Unabomber" Laak who is just slightly insane, and she's going up against a mixed crowds show she can use her other weapons - the "girls" will definitely be on show. Plus if this is anything like the games where I've seen pros go up against amateurs (mostly online) the non-pros will tend to make bad plays (well on CPS worse plays) against the player with the bracelets. She should be able to capitalise.

The real loss will be Phil Gordon who has a very good rapport with Dave Foley (better than with Season 1 host Kevin Pollock). Although one writer in the poker press claims that Gordon was fired because Helmuth will work for 30% less, the fact is that Gordon has stated that his contract was up and while he wants to continue announcing, he wants to do it in a situation where players actually know what they're doing.

Kevin Sorbo and Doug E. Doug are playing. Whoo! That's good tv.

I'd like to see the Kids in the Hall have a round.

Tilly only has a chance if she figures out how to adjust to the play of the typical celebrity donk. James Woods, who is an excellent poker player, was never able to when he was on CPS.

Also, to be fair, it should be noted that Tilly's WPT win was in a short-handed, invitation-and-women-only event, and her WSOP win was in a women-only event. (I'm not slamming women here. I'm just noting that she won in circumstances where her opposition was limited.)

I don't mind Hellmuth taking over...Phil Gordon is a funny guy, but the show never really allowed him to do his thing (search 'tiltboys' on google to see what I mean). Hellmuth is always entertaining in a soap opera kind of way. On a separate note, Im surprised they're letting Jen Tilly play this year. Most people on the show have no clue what they're doing, while she has a WPT title and WSOP bracelet.
