Survivor: Exile Island: Bamboozled

(S12E13) One of the best things about Casa Dysfunction is that you can never truly call which way things are going to go. I think this is one of the reasons Terry keeps being frustrated. There's no logical order. There is a pattern but it doesn't make sense to Terry and so everything he tries seems to fall apart.

Another multi-level challenge of ridiculousness gives the Survivors a chance to fight to see their loved ones. Why do they keep having these physical challenges when Terry always wins? It makes for boring viewing (especially for those of who aren't Terry fans). This season's twist means Terry gets to play God: two loved ones get a reward challenge, one person gets to bring a family member back to camp, one person gets a hug and one person gets Exile Island. Terry lets Shane be with his son which is a pretty cool thing to do. He also lets Cirie be with her husband. Terry exacts a bit of revenge sending Danielle to Exile Island. His choices make me like Terry just a bit more. And as happens to me every season, the family reunion episode leaves me all weepy.Seeing someone's family always adds a new facet to what each Survivor is like. Cirie is pretty bossy with her husband but also loving and maternal.  Super-achieving Terry is softer around his fit and blonde wife. It's also nice to see Shane with his son, who is clearly the adult in that relationship.

When they get back to camp. Aras gets angry because he didn't get to be with his mom and feels like Terry devalued his relationship with his mom. A long discussion of family relationships ensues and Terry delights in making Aras upset.

The immunity challenge involves both balancing on a pole and filling a shoot with water. It seems there isn't a challenge that Terry can't win. Shane is clearly angry and even mocks the sacrosanct Jeff.

What's interesting is Terry's reasoning that if he takes Shane to the finals he will win. Terry believes in the performance-valued system that has served him his entire life. That isn't the way Casa Dysfunction rolls. He may well get to the final two and not get the million no matter how much he he was . Danielle says she trusts Cirie and Aras. Cirie is the linch pin in a couple of alliances.

They bring in the jury, Courtney doesn't look much cleaner but she sure looks angrier. I'm tagging her to give the impassioned betrayal speech at the final tribal. At this tribal, Aras says that the challenges are only part of the game but they seem to be the most important part since they can't get rid of Terry. His faux-hawk only contributes to his spoiled boy demeanor. Shane who though he was safe is completely flummoxed to be voted out. Terry covers his face, he's foiled again! I'll miss Shane but at least we are spared seeing him wander around in his underpants any longer.

Why do you think Shane always has to expose his scrawny chest??? I could not believe that even on the Jury he wears a shirt open in the front. Doesn't he realize that he is just not a "turn on"

Cirie should be the winner. Terry turned out to be a real jerk. I liked him at first . It took time for his true colors to come out. Shane acted like a loser, looked like a loser, spoke like a loser , was a cry baby and had no carisma what so ever. His son said it all when he mentioned his dad was more like his buddy and liked to do kid things with him. Aras is okay and I guess so is Danielle.

I find Terry to be a strong and wise personality and I truly like him. He has physically and emotionally won this game. I approve. Aras is very young and vindictive. It's a game and I hope whoever loses will not be a poor one.

I'm not a Terry fan ,Cerie is a sweet person she never said a lot of bad thing about any one .
My vote for Cerie and Aras ,I felt bad when Tery said his Mom wasn't important as a wife or husband and what not .Aras mom meant as much to him as terry wife and cerie husband.
terry a sore loser when it comes to losing .

I am thinking that Terry and Danielle will go to the final two and Terry will win. Frome the looks on the huries faces, they hate Danielle as much as I do. If the show is "Outwit, Outlast, and Outplay", then Terry deserves to win, NO ONE has ever done better than him.
GO TERRY!

Terry is unbelievably determined. Very impressive biography. No wonder everyone is jealous of this fine man. Loves his country and people criticize him and call him Captain America venomly. I cannot stand Cirie and hope her sarcastic butt is gone soon. She is the only one NOT losing weight. Has anyone noticed that? And she is suppose to be a nurse? What about caring about Bruce? All she did was laugh that annoying laugh. I thought nurses were more caring. And the way she treated her husband like he was a slave was awful.I think Shane is more caring than Cirie even though he has his quirks. He loves his son and is a good dad. Aras is a immature POSER who was taught a lesson by 46 year old Maverick Terry. Why do these young people have such disrespect for the older survivors? Ever notice that? I would never take a yoga class from him. Where is the serenity? Danielle is playing the game, lying to everyone with her big fake boobs. Of course the show has to have fake boobs every season. She is hanging in there and she may take the million check home. Who knows?

Has anyone realize that there is one person from each or the four tribes that started this show, in the final four. Older men, Terry. Younger men, Aras. Older women, Cerie. Younger women, Danniel. Personaly I would have voted Cerie out along time ago. Remember? She was afraid of leaves.

Terry is an awesome competitor - he can win the strength challenges, the brain challenges, the endurance challenges BUT when he comes back to camp he loses it all with his inability to "schmoze". He burned bridges with Aras with his "rub in his face" fact that Aras had a Mom visitor vs. a spouse. He could have capitalized on his generousity but didn't - uggghhhh! It is quite frustrating as a watcher!

As in the real world, there seem to be so many people not wanting the person who has shown the best survivor skills to win the money. Why is it that we want to beat down the person on top. Terry deserves the million if he makes it to the final two. They have all done something right to get this far. Cirie may deserve to be in the final two, but she does not, in my opioion, deserve the million.
