Chat along while the American Idols sing... Elvis?!?!? Now hold on a second, this is--

AI; american idol; logo; moobyThere are only a few artists that I just can't imagine a talent search singing, one is a group of four guys from Liverpool, the other is the King of rock'n'roll. Even when the most talented performers of the show's history have taken on one of these, I've cringed to myself a little. An entire night devoted to Mr. Presley is going to be rough. Come join me and the rest of the American Idol fanatics tonight as we chat live during the show. As with all of our chats, you must have AIM or a compatible chat client (Trillian, GAIM, etc), once you have that, meet back here to this very post at 8pm ET, and that's when I'll unveil the location for our super secret chat room. See you then!

For Trillian users: Simply click on the link, and as long as Trillian is set as your default instant messenging program, it will open within Trillian.

For Gaim users: Go to the 'Buddies' menu, then select "Join a Chat". Use your AIM account, then enter the room name TVSquadAIChat12 and use Exchange 4. That should do it!

Well, I do have my opinions. First of all Simon is on the wrong show, he would be better on HOUSE.
If Chris wins, I have no desire to buy his cd, or pay for a ticket to see him.
Kat is still the Best all around performer, and even if she gets the axe tonight, She will shine.
I think Elliot has no right being on the top 5...
When it comes down to it, Taylor would make the Best Idol.....
The other two men, Give me a break, American IDOL????

Buh-bye, Katharine. Simon was spot-on, as usual: She ended the show by butchering what is arguably Elvis' best song.

I cast my first vote ever tonight ... for Elliott.

I thought this was one of the best episodes of the season. Elliott kicked it up a notch and was great. Poor Katherine knows she's leaving tomorroww night. I could see it in her face. Mottola's giggle/laugh was hilarious, too. i expected him to be some egotistical weirdo. Nice to see I was wrong.
