TV Squad APB #11

by Keith McDuffee, posted May 9th 2006 2:52PM
tv squad apb logoWe slacked off for a couple of weeks there, but we're back! We'll make it up to you. Honest. Stuff Joel and I cover this week:
  • What are your favorite season finales? And what makes a good season finale?
  • CBS and ABC are streaming shows online, though how do they look?
  • Futurama -- is it coming back, or what?
  • Some things we're planning for the Upfronts next week, and what cool stuff we're planning after all the finales are over.
  • Lots of TV Squad specific items, like the Star system (again!), the idea of forums, what we may do for voicemail, etc.
  • A few tidbits about spoilers.

This is a great podcast. I really love the laid back vibe. You guys needs to help out the Lost podcast brothers. So many boooop's. Why can't they do a podcast like you two, just sitting back discussing Lost. Anyway, sorry to bash, don't mean it in a bad way. I love what they have to say and I just hate the format. you guys on the other hand. Joel, I hope you will remain a permanent fixture on the APB Podcast.

Hey Keith,

This was another good APB. Thanks for that. I was the one that made the suggestion of using gizmo project for the call in / voice mail feature. You are able to get a regular phone number for your gizmo account. They run $12 for 3 months, or $35 for a year. That will allow anyone to call in and leave a voice message, or talk to whoever picks up, from any landline or cellphone. At the same time, anyone using gizmo, and soon anyone using Google Talk, will be able to call in from their computer to leave a message. You can read more about it on their site.
