CSI: Miami - Rampage

CSI; Miami; CBS; Horatio Caine; Marisol Delko(S04E24) What a great way to tie this whole season together. With only one episode left, the Male Noche gang from way back in the season premiere has returned and they want Horatio dead. Recall that H shut down a lot of the gang's Miami operations so it makes sense that they'd be holding a grudge.

Last week's cliffhanger didn't really lead to anything. The only purpose it served was to let us know that someone wanted to hit H. But no one was shot at his wedding (to Marisol) and I'm guessing this episode takes place about a week later. The Noches are finally on trial (that took a while...) but the courtroom proceedings don't go very smoothly. While on the stand, one of the Noche leaders grabs a gun from the prosecutor (it was evidence), tosses it to his buddy in the crowd, who then locks in a magazine and starts firing. Two of the Noche leaders got away, but only later do we find out why.

Then the unthinkable happens. While speaking with Delko, Marisol is shot in the stomach by a sniper rifle. To make matters worse, the Noches pull a car in front of her ambulance. It delayed her arrival at the hospital and ultimately, it led to Marisol dying a few hours later. The Noches couldn't get to Horatio but they could get to his new wife. Of course, Delko was a target too... but he only got grazed with the first bullet. Did anyone else find the secondary story completely ridiculous though? It was way too convenient to just have Delko's ex-girlfriend also on a balcony, aiming a sniper rifle at him. They could have tried to throw us off in a much more believable way.

Back to the Noches, they were having a gathering of Noche leaders from all over: Miami, Bolivia, El Salvadore, and more. Wolfe was able to track them and the cops busted in on the party. Horatio and Delko (in the best scene of the episode) drove one guy out into the swamps, held two guns to his face, and demanded to know who ordered the hit on Marisol. It was the guy from the stand in the courtroom. Now all they have to do is find him.

The season finale is next week and it's going to be good. We'll finally find out who the mole is too.

Somehow, my vcr did not tape tonight's (May 22nd) season finale. Help! It was supposed to be recording when I came back in from my walk--LATE. And of course, I wanted to watch the taped version from beginning to end and I did not get any of it recorded! My husband is out of town and I was supposed to record it for him for his birthday surprise! When will this be repeated? Please tell us it will be?!?!? We love watching the CSI"s. Thanks for planning to keep these shows next season!!!

IS "H" FOR REAL ??? I GUESS IF YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT A MAN ? WHO CAN'T KEEP HIS HANDS OFF HIS HIPS , TURNS AWAY FROM THE PERSON HE TALKS TO , PLAYS WITH HIS SUN GLASSES , LEADS CSI , LEADS THE POLICE CAPTAIN , LEADS SWAT AND HAS THE SCEWIEST FADE AWAY CAMERA SHOTS THAT I EVER SAW...NO MORE FOR ME ! THANKFULLY THERE'S CSI (VEGAS AND NY) THAT ARE MORE BELIEVABLE !!!!

i liked last weeks episode. the end was good. was anybody else confused, because the previous "to be continued" episode ended with a guy about to kill H, yet "Rampage" had nothing to do with that?!?! it was only untill the last 1/2hour i understood. and wasnt it kind of obvious Marisol was going to die anyway?... Also they really could have built up the story line about more with the mole. Third Watch showed the story from the mole's point of view (best show ever created) and i was hoping CSI MIAMI woudl show it from everyone elses point of view, but regardless of the fact they stoel that story line, there was no build up, for me to even care who the mole is. (i bet its that Boa Vista one. i can wait to see "one of our own" another character is suposed to be killed off.. probly some very minor character... (aslo CSI las vegas.. what a crapy episode, wtf didnt Brass die?) well i hope this years season finale is going to be better than regualar CSI's...

I agree with the poster who talked about appreciating it as a piece of Batman-like camp. My husband and I always get a charge and several laughs on a weekly basis.
'H' saves the world again! He IS the go-to guy. Have a problem? Let 'H' know then ...wait for it...with a tilt of his head, the placement of his sunglasses or in very serious situations, the hands on hips movement - and pow-problem solved because, HE IS H! What a hoot!

There's something I'm not quite getting here...
In the previews to the season finale, I thought they showed Horatio and Marisol at there wedding, a/the noches brothers in a car with a target towards them, and showing someone shot AT the wedding...
Did something else happen or is that just me?

CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE NAME OF THE EPISODE ABOUT THE TIDAL WAVE? I HAD THE VCR READY TO RECORD BUT I HAD NODDED OUT & IN MY HASTE TO RECORD, I MUST HAVE HIT SOMETHING BESIDES RECORD, THUS I MISSED WHAT LOOKED TO ME, A VERY EXCITING EPISODE. I APPRECIATE THE HELP!

about the horatio's tilted head and everything else, i actually enjoy it. My sister and i laugh every time we see him tilt or say his quote at the end of the beggining scene.
