Quick! Check out the Aquaman trailer!

by Bob Sassone, posted May 18th 2006 2:11PM
The CW said "no" to the new Aquaman show, but go here to take a look at the trailer (and hurry before the network takes it down!)

I don't think it looks too bad. Sort of like The O.C. meets Smallville.

I just saw the trailer. This is like more of Scif show to some aspect. I was really never a Aquaman fan but once I heard some of the creators of Smallville were doing it I was actully looking forward to it now I'm little disappointed.

I did like it as someone said "The O.C. meets Smallville". It would of been cool if it was picked up. You would have your powerhouse on Wed. or Thurs with One Tree Hill,Aquaman,Smallville and Supernatural. If Scif doesn't pick it up how about USA network?

Personally I think the shows looks great. When I heard it wasn't picked up earlier this week, I wasn't that upset, but after seeing the trailer I'm really disappointed.

Response to Chris: "the networks don't need this type of show." What are you talking about, this is exactly the type of show they need. I suppose you would want another procedural "who done it" cop show, rather than a original movie quality production.

GRRRR I missed it. Did anyone get it saved or know of a mirror; maybe a torrent?

I think they are making a big mistake picking up &th Heaven and dropping fresh shows like Aquaman and Everwood. A night block of Smaleville, Supernatural, and Aquaman would have RULED!!!

If someone is smart FOX should take this show and team it with the AI results show. Aquaman would be the breakout show of the year.

I think this would have been a truly enjoyable show. While it doesn't hold to the original story-line of Aquaman, it certainly had a good premise. I think I would have enjoyed it immensely...

First off that trailer looked kick-ass w/excellent music (come on, Trust Companys 'Downfall') I do think it might be tough to come up with stories each week and I'm sure the budget with all that water filming might be high but someone needs to pick it up. Aquaman aint makin pb&j sandwiches at the Hall of Justice anymore...

Yeah, I honestly (and surprisingly) didn't think it was that bad of a trailer. The song choice was horrible, and expected, but other thatn that I'd of watched it judging from that alone.

it didnt look that bad, id check it out if a network picked it up....from the looks of the preview it looks like it could have at least made for a good tv movie.

had heavy buzz around it, i heard it was because the network execs didn't think the stories were any good but when has that stopped anyone from putting it on air. I could have seen this go for a season at the least, smallville didn't start out too promising at first and look how it rebounded.

So this mean, no Aquaman tv show ever? Or just upcoming season?

Justin Hartley is no Tom Welling... um, that's a GOOD thing BTW.
