The Upfronts: The CW

the cwThe CW (formerly known as UPN and The WB, its official logo to the right) officially announces its 2006-07 prime-time schedule today, though there was a preview given last night. Some favorites from both old networks have made the cut, while there are some fans of old shows who will likely feel disappointed. The changes in brief:

Returning: 7th Heaven; Gilmore Girls; Smallville; Beauty and the Geek; Supernatural; One Tree Hill; All of Us; Girlfriends; Veronica Mars; WWE Smackdown; America's Next Top Model; Everybody Hates Chris.

Out: The Bedford Diaries; Blue Collar TV; Everwood; Living With Fran; Modern Men; Pepper Dennis; Reba; Related; Survival of the Richest; Twins; Cuts; Eve; Get This Party Started; Half & Half; Love, Inc.; One on One; South Beach; What I Like About You; Charmed.

New: Runaway; The Game; Palm Springs.

Everbody Hates Chris
(to Sundays at 8); All Of Me (to Sundays); Girlfriends (to Sundays); The Game (Sundays); One Tree Hill (Wednesdays at 9).

Runaway (Mondays at 9): Revolves around a family that becomes fugitives in order to prove the innocence of their patriarch (Donnie Wahlberg) - who's convicted of murder. Created Chad Hodge with executive producers Darren Star and Ed Zuckerman.

Palm Springs: A coming-of-age drama about a troubled teen (The O.C.'s Taylor Handley) who moves to a gated community, where he uncovers some dark secrets. Arrives mid-season.

The Game: A spin-off of Girlfriends, this show is about a group of women in various stages of relationships with pro football players.

OMG I am sooooo HAPPY that SuperNatural is coming back for a third season!! it is the one and only show I watch! Thanks soo much for keeping this great show on air! keep up the good work, and hopefully we will get to see many more of these great actors kicking spirits butts! Thanks Again!

please/why did the reba show quit running without a finish . best comedy show on tv.please reply . another station would be glad to have her make their ratings go sky high.need more country shows like hers&the family.living with fran was stopped earily too.bring reba macentire back if not [WHY] thank you ' [reply please]]!!!!!!!

OH MY GOD......It is Sept. 22,2006. it's a friday. Where the heck are all my Favorite shows??? What I like about You, Reba, Twins and even Living with Fran??? Not all of us are guys and we ALL DO NOT LIKE wrestling ughhhhhhhh. I will never watch this channel again on Friday nights.. Ruined Forever!!!

Related was a great show! It ended with such a great cliff-hanger, too, and now it's gone! They didn't even give it a chance! What a mistake!
