American Idol reject William Hung is still making the rounds. This week, he was crowned 'Artichoke King' in Castroville, California-- the artichoke capital of the world. This weekend he will ride in the town's parade and Mock Trail with J. Reinhold!

Yeah, I live in Monterey, 20 minutes from Castroville, and I plan on going to the festival (to enjoy the artichokes, not to see Hung). How anyone on the planning comittee thought this was a good idea is beyond me. I'll have to remember to bring earplugs when I go.

He was not crowned anything.
