If you revisit season 1 then you'll notice that it was Ryan, Marissa, and Seth. Marissa shouldn't have been killed off, fine maybe if she didn't want to be a full cast member next season then do a lame farewell, but I don't see her doing a great job with movies, and she claims "I've done all I can with this character" BS!!! All you did was angst and be a stupid teenager. Now you had the ability to actually not be all snotty and childish and act like an adult! omg or would that have bee too much on her acting skills? I actually liked her on the show and I am really angry she's gone. Its stupid the way they did it. The OC has lost all its creativity.

it sucks that she dies you people who say shes a bad actor are retarted shes a very good actress even tho yes her death could of been a little more dramatic and anyways that was such a stupid fake death everybody knows ryan could of stopped the car so they didnt have to freakin go down that hill thing but no hes dumb..or the writers dumb? i guess i can or cant wait till next season it wont be as fun with out her no more marissa bringning in more drama and ths kinda sucks cuz i seen that ryan and her could of got back together they were going to go to the same college..i wonder how it will turn out next fall summer seth an ryan will be at college now its kaitlyn who wants to watch that it just like laguna beach how you fell in love with lc kristen jason tallan and whoever now this season its a bunch of new people who wants to watch that we want to still watch kristen lc tallan and whoever i didnt watch that show so i dont rerally know everboby and yeah anyways its just the same with the oc no more ryan summer marissa and seth its just not going to be the same...

Why are all you guys so mean about mischa leaving the show. she was my favorate character and she WAS the show. why does everyone not like her. i dont get it. Im gonna stop wathcing the oc because they did that now. so screw all of u ppl who wanted her to die!!!

If that girl thinks that she has a career in movies, she's incredibly mistaken. I will bet that within 3 years she'll have done a movie with a super steamy sex scene and had to have been at least partially nude for it (the hallmark of a has-been actress trying to get noticed for her acting)...

She'll regret not being on the O.C. anymore, whether or not it was her decision to leave.

Oh well, at least no more boring-ass Marissa plots! LOL

im sad to see her go. as for her acting skills they arent that bad, you have to remember that she was the only one of the cast members that was really a teen when the show started....she'll def be cast in one of those horror movies that seem to come out ever other week. i cant wait to see where the writers take the show next year though.

Ummm...too bad her death was poorly acted. If I were her, I wouldn't be too excited about the movie career - she is destined to never be cast as a dying character again.
