Abbott and Costello Show coming to DVD

Huh. I would have thought that this show was already on DVD (besides best of volumes and similar discs), but it has just been announced that the first season of the show will be released in a 5 disc set this September. The second season will be released in October, so it won't be that much of a wait for hardcore fans.

The sets are being released to celebrate Lou Costello's 100th birthday. I haven't seen this show in about 20 years, but I do remember thinking it was boring as hell when I watched it. Interestingly, it's the show that Jerry Seinfeld often cites as being the most like Seinfeld.
