Advertisers cover Katie Couric's salary

Apparently, Katie Couric is worth $15 million. Our buddies over at AdJab are reporting that advertising sales and other revenue for the new CBS Evening News have already totalled $15 million, Couric's annual salary. CBS CEO Les Moonves says advertisers that usually don't buy space during evening news are lining up for a slot because of the network's perky new anchor.

Does that mean we'll see fewer advertisements for medications and more for... oh, I don't know... Folgers?
