Big Brother 7 update: Friday eviction announced

This week's eviction from the U.K. Big Brother house took place last night, but it wasn't the result I was expecting, nor the one I wanted.
Following on from a twist in the nominations procedure, Mikey, Imogen, Lisa and Nikki were all facing the public vote as a result of their own rule breaking. As part of the normal nomination process this week, they were required to nominate one of their fellow rule-breakers for nomination in full public view of the other non-rule breaking housemates.
Warning: spoilers after the jump.
Personally, I'd rather have seen Nikki take the long walk of shame out of the house, but unfortunately, the public decided to evict foul-mouthed Lisa.
The Chinese-Liverpudlian was a force of nature in the house, storming her way through fight after fight, and incessant arguments with other housemates -- cursing her way through every sentence that dribbled from her mouth -- and creating much of the bitchy atmosphere that seems to have dominated this year's proceedings.
So, farewell Lisa, and onwards with the rest of the Big Brother process, which includes yet another twist to the show next week when five new housemates enter the show in their very own house next door; the public will vote on which of the current housemates takes up residency with the new ones on Friday night.
