Big Brother 7 update: evictions, twists and more evictions

by Martin Conaghan, posted Jul 3rd 2006 1:06PM

Big BrotherAnother week, another twist to the Big Brother U.K. house.

If you're recording the shows and watching them later, like me, you might want to go elsewhere.

Warning: spoilers after the jump.

Friday night saw the twisted eviction process take place, when Aisleyne and Susie faced the public vote. However, this time, the public were not voting to evict the housemate of their choice, they were deciding who would be moved to the "house next-door", a specially-built second Big Brother house, which would also include five new housemates who have been in hiding for the past few weeks.

The public chose a devastated Aisleyne, who was then summarily evicted from the house, only to be ushered in to her new abode, replete with five new chums; Jonathan, a 24-year-old bouncer, Spiral - real name Glen - a 22-year-old DJ/rapper from Dublin, 18-year-old Liverpudlian Jennie, Michael, a 23-year-old student from Oldham and 37-year-old Jayne from Slough (home of The Office).

Aisleyne was informed by Big Brother that she would be evicting four of the housemates over the course of the coming week, with the last housemate to survive being granted access to the original house, along with Aisleyne herself.

However, the final twist from the Big Brother producers was that all five of the new housemates would not be evicted at all, but would be moved next door to the original house, along with Aisleyne - who would then have to face the music for evicting all of them from the show in the first place.

First up to be evicted was loudmouth Jayne, who arrived in the house dressed in black PVC fetish gear, and kept shouting at the top of her voice, despite being repeatedly told to keep quiet in case the original housemates were alerted to the presence of a second house.

Confused? You will be.
