New View host already chosen?

Star JonesGossip Janet Charleton - who broke the news of Kathy Griffin's divorce from husband Matt - is saying that The View has already chosen a replacement for Star Jones regardless of the on air auditions (including Kellie Pickler!) they're currently doing.

Charleton says she was told by a network leak (I had one of those once - it was very painful) that the new host was chosen months ago. Her name is Bo Griffin, the so-called "Oprah of Radio." What does that mean? Does it mean she's black? Is sometimes fat, sometimes thin? Gives away cars to listeners? She's also been a host on Good Day Live and appeared on other TV and radio shows.

No official word from ABC yet.

She did some episodes for Good Day LA right? She's kinda fun. I don't know if she fits with the other people though...

Bo Griffin used to do psychic infomercials in the middle of the night.
Yes, she's black. And heavy (or was, when I saw these commercials in 1998...)

Iam so tired of hearing about Star Jones!!!!She is just another person who was fired from a job!!!What is so damn special about that!
She is milking all of this publicity for what she can get!She knew they were bringing Rosie on to the show her leaving was not a surprise!!!
Since Star began to loose the weight her personality changed for the worse!She developed a DIVA ATTITUDE and she got what she deserved!!!!!!
It's time for Star to take a LONG LONG look in the mirror and see what she has become.She is going to be a very lonely woman some day.And it might be sooner than she thinks.I think Al married her for money and not love.He won't be around much longer!!!Sorry Star, but you made your bed and you will have to live with the consequences!!!!

Interesting. Bo Griffin dj's a morning radio show in her hometown of Greenville, SC. She returned to Greenville after having done Broadway and several big market radio programs to host her current morning show and pursue her "childhood fantasy of being a fashion designer" (she owns two local dress shops).

I'm not one of her regular listeners, but I have noticed that she's not been on the air since about the beginning of July. Is it an extended July 4th vacation or a move to The View? I'm interested to see if this rumor is true.
