Veronica Mars creator promises a "cleaner" season

And here I was thinking that it meant less sex (as everyone was getting some last year). Not that I mind, at least its not like Lost where the producers have basically said "Next year we're sexing it right up!"

Please never use that publicity photo of Kristen Bell again. It's truly awful and conjures up totally the wrong image of the show.

Carissa, I'm so jealous. Even if we cleared all the trees off my property, I still wouldn't get a sight line for a dish. My husband jokes that he is getting a technician out to test the sight lines before we ever put in an offer on another property. :) Now to have access to the West Coast feeds too, that would be heaven.

Dish Network for scheduling is great. I buy the extra "superstations" from across the country, which happen to be CW stations. So, I can watch my CW shows from Boston, Chicago and LA, all different time zones than Denver (where I live). I can watch a show usually four times any given night. Yay!! And, I also got a second TiVo. :-)

I never got on the House bandwagon (and I've heard that its my loss... But, I'll catch up on DVD one day), but as much as love Zach Braff and Scrubs, if I had to pick between Mars and Scrubs, its no contest. Mars everday of the week, and twice on Sunday.

Instead, it's up against House and Scrubs (well, when NBC actually airs Scrubs). I'm sorry, but this is a DVR nightmare - how about they put it at a different timeslot that doesn't suck?

My UPN affiliate used to air that week's episode on Sunday nights just before primetime started - I don't know how the ratings were, but I suspect that there were a number of people that watched VM there instead...

dpratt, the show should be on Tues at 9 pm following Gilmore Girls now. So it's not up against Lost anymore.

I could be mistaken, but isn't this show counter-scheduled against Lost? I know that this isn't an issue for us saavy DVR-owning viewers (or at least those of us with dual tuners) but a vast vast majority of people don't have this.

And I'd dare say that the audience demographic between VM and Lost has quite a bit of crossover. Has it occurred to the CW/showrunner to consider a new timeslot?
