Kim Cattrall is too raunchy for New Zealand

kim cattrallKim Cattrall is going to play her Samantha character from Sex and the City until she dies, isn't she?

Nissan has pulled a new advertisement starring Kim Cattrall from New Zealand television, following complaints about its content. In the ad, Cattrall makes all sorts of sexually suggestive comments about the new Nissan Tiida, saying thinks like "It's so big!" and "That great body and the way you moved it." While the New Zealand censors approved of the ad, the public did not.

Kev, I agree it was overkill. There are far worse things on telly, and far worse ads. Some idiots are hypocrites IMO. I wrote on my blog that if a kid knew what Kim was on about, then that is a bloody dirty kid. And if these folks are complaining about how we didn't have this stuff on TV 30 years ago, they need to have their heads examined.

Crazy. I wasn't a big fan of the ad, but to pull it? Wonder if anyone complained about the ad that called their motorbike the best bj on the road...

Hypocritical of New Zealand viewers, considering Sex and the City aired on network television, with the f-word intact. Why are we shocked and surprised by Kim Cattrall's antics? (And let's hope she does not keep playing this role till she dies!)
