The WB to burn off eps of Just Legal in August

Just LegalFor the three people who were fans of last fall's WB bomb Just Legal, which was cancelled after three episodes, you can now rest easy; the soon-to-be-defunct network has decided to burn off the remaning five episodes of the show. According to this article on The Futon Critic, the network will show the pilot, then the unaired episodes, every Sunday at 7 PM ET starting August 6.

I guess they're showing the pilot to remind everyone what the show was about. I can give it to you in eight words: Don Johnson. Old lawyer. Young lawyer. Wackiness ensues. There. Now you can free up another summer Sunday and go to the beach.

We were pleased that Just Legal was shown this summer. It is definitely a refreshing series with very competent actors at every level, not just in the lead roles. Too bad people don't understand the underlying moral ideas of the series. Humor and ethics do mix and we will miss this series which ended here in Arizona on Sunday, Sept. 10. We much prefer this kind of series over Law & Order, and its many clones. We remember the old Max Headroom series that also was cancelled due to so-called lack of viewer interest. Just Legal is not on that same level because the 2005 series is based on current happenings not on future, science fiction themes. Both, however, are prime examples of how a serious topic can be treated fairly but with a touch of humor. We hope that whoever owns the rights to Just Legal sells them to the Biography Channel that also features Nero Wolfe, Poirot and Midsommer Murders.

The show SUCKS!! It's not TRUE bubba/Don Johnson. He's had financial troubles & now he's back to being Joe-blow actor instead of having "his-OWN" show!
True fans want to see him as a tough-go-getter-cop with a cool car that gets all the chicks. Not a burned-out fat drunk lawyer.
Long live Nash Bridges!!!

Hey I'm one of those three. Somehow the old burned-out lawyer, young idealistic lawyer thing worked for me.
