Can you smell that? No no, the other thing. Yep, it's the Fall TV season fast approaching, and it's about time we get the Spoilers Anonymous meetings back in session. Now, while I don't have a full list of everything to update you on since my last post, I'll give you a good taste of what's to come, quick and dirty-like. Then, starting next week, I'll update you weekly with the latest released spoilery goodnessbadness, in our original format.

If you have anything to add to the group, feel free to step up and let yourself be heard, either with our tips form or by emailing us at tvsquad@gmail.com or call and leave a message at 917-421-9477 (NY) - your anonymity is guaranteed, if you wish to remain as such.

This week: 24, Lost, Nip/Tuck, Battlestar Galactica, Desperate Housewives, and The Office. Now, let's get down to business (SPOILERS BELOW!)...

24
- Next season's President will be Wayne Palmer.

Nip/Tuck
- Liz may be having some serious medical issues this season, possibly something to do with her kidneys.

Lost
- Many season 3 spoilers over on TheTailSection.com.
- AICN has even more for season 3.
- A bunch of news from Comic-Con.

Battlestar Galactica
- Via Now Playing Magazine:
* Just as the second season finale jumped ahead in time, the third season premiere will jump ahead more. The humans dwell – some would say suffer - under the Cylons for a long period, but largely offscreen.
* Expect fewer stand-alone episodes.
* Episode #3.4 is a stand-alone episode.
* We'll meet a human POW who's been on a basestar for four years. And the reason he's been a Cylon prisoner is because Bill Adama brought him down.
* Bill Adama and SolSaul Tigh will be at odds during the start of season three, then reconcile.
* A basestar will become ravaged by a plague upon the Cylons.
* 3.9 sets up 3.20, the season finale. Both involve the path to Earth.
* Dean Stockwell and Richard Hatch will continue to lurk about.
* Zarak will be returned to stir. At least at first.
* The Caprica prequel pilot is still being written.

Desperate Housewives
- Lots of new season spoilers here and here.

The Office
- Rashida Jones has landed a recurring role as a potential love interest and co-worker for Jim. Jim will start the season at a different Dunder Mifflin branch, where Rashida Jones, Ed Helms and Charles "Chip" Esten will play co-workers.

Joey, BSG being shown straight through with no breaks (except for probably holidays) is going to happen.

As for the Gates/Eureka not coming back in Jan that is still rumor. SciFi has not officially announced anything yet on that.

I hate it when people complain all the time about small mistakes. If you find a mistake, just say it politely even if it is in the comments section. If you get overworked over such a small thing you have real issues.

Btw Keith, how's Netscape? ;-) I say good luck with that job!

What about the rumor about Battlestar being shown for a full 20 episodes all at once and the Gates and Eureka being delayed until next year? Is that still going down? The three shows would have to be stopped soon if this was still happening, right?

Akbar -- I'd fix those mistakes if I watched the show, but I don't. So if you see something consistently needing fixing, I'd love to know (via the forms, not here).

Well, then we stand unforgiven for those few mistakes.

I will admit, if I personally had taken the time to find a correction form I would have used it. Totally my fault for not doing that.

However, Will O'Brien still IMO shows no respect for the Stargate shows he reviews. A reviewer need not be a total unforgiving fanboy about a show but with something with a 10+ year history, showing a littl respect to its history might be a good idea.

Ok, fanboy bitch off.

Making a basic spelling typo is one thing. But for a blog about TV shows misspelling a characters name is unforgivable imo and as Jim mentions, makes you lose credibility.

I'm with you, Keith.
People here need to chill with their "bitching" about spelling mistakes. Does it really cause you people physical pain to see a word spelled wrong? It's not like the posters are doing it on purpose, and you obviously know what they're trying to say since yer correcting them. Or if yer such a tight-ass that you have to point it out, then do it without the condescending remarks.

We do our best. All I ask is that you do everyone a favor and use the correction form (http://www.tvsquad.com/contact/corrections/) for these complaints, not a public comment that can very easily become buried and unnoticed and just generally make everyone look bad. We have hundreds of comments to sift through a day, sometimes thousands. The forms get to us much faster and easier.

In general, using the public post comments to make grammar and spelling complaints, to us, makes it seem you're just trying to cause a ruckus and not be helpful.

Oh, and you spelled "misspellings" wrong. ;-)
