Big Brother: Veto Ceremony #6

(S04E17) Have you ever watched a horror movie where you see the gorgeous blonde walking through a house with the shadowy killer stalking her ? That's a bit like this episode of Big Brother. Janelle is being stalked on all sides but she is completely clueless. All episode long I just wanted to shout at her to get out of the way of the knives aimed in her direction.Are Erika and Boogie "madly in love"? Oh please. Both Erika and Boogie are famous for their showmances so forgive me if I don't buy Boogie's protestations of love or Erika's coy assertion that they really like each other. And it isn't even that fun to watch.

Marcellas and Janelle finally have a conversation about who is true of heart and who isn't. Marcellas says they still have an alliance but in the diary room it's quite a different story. He says the buxom blonde is toast if he gets HoH. Howie and Janelle are so clueless it is often painful to watch just like last season.

Clue #2 for the coup d'etat is a giant needle and thread. Could this mean that Boogie's guess was actually right? Howie guesses "a wolf in sheep's clothing" based on Janelle's answer but tells everyone he chose the implausible "spool of lies."

Competing for veto are Marcellas, Erika, Will, Danielle and James. Janelle can't play since she forfeited her right to do that last week. Janelle thinks she is set if James wins the veto but if he wins then he will have to save Danielle and expose himself as the snake he is. The veto competition is hosted by season 2 alum Nicole and involves competing against past alums. Will actually competes well in a competition even if it is just eating sushi but the Legion of Doom is committed to saving Danielle. James does such a bad job throwing the veto competition that Will is embarrassed and Janelle finally buys a clue and sees the snake for what he is. Will loses his competition too but is a bit more convincing. Janelle realizes that she is seriously outnumbered.

Janelle is furious at James and reads him the riot act. He goes running to his new mates, the brothers Chill who immediately go to work on Janelle and Howie.

Meanwhile, Boogie and Will and Erika and Janelle take a shower together. Will and Boogie say this is purely strategy but it's a strategy that Boogie is much more of a participant in. Will keeps jumping out of the shower, fully clothed, to show the cameras (and his girlfriend back home) that it's all good clean fun.

With Danielle in possession of the power of veto, Dr. Botox has to use all his charms on Janelle. She may be wise to James but is she blind to the shiny doctor and chooses to betray Marcellas. Is this perhaps because Janelle believe that her chances are always best with the heterosexual males or is she just that enthralled by the darling doc?
