"Give Cease A Chance": Whoo! It's quiet in Lebanon! Senior Fire-Ceaser Rob Corddry briefly elaborated on the situation. Big laughs for his cease fire talk. Fun Fact: A similar method can be used on quarreling children, especially if said children are weilding guns."Ministry of Truth": Propoganda-coverage! Gosh. The mid-east is a lot more artistic when it comes to propoganda. All we have are TV ads. TDS showed a Photoshopped picture of the famous National Geographic girl (y'know, the one with the stunning eyes) in a beer hat and the entire audience groaned really loudly. I never realized how precious of an image that is, haha.
"10 Fucking Years": A really funny montage of all the Photoshopped fake stores/restaurants TDS has used over the years. Samantha Bee took us on a tour of this imaginary mall. There were so many stores. Holy crap. They had fake restaurants ("Saturday Only Porkatorium", "Cold Stone Dumpery"), specialty stores ("VHS Rewinderland", "Irony n' Stuff"), fake books at the bookstore (Crap You Already Know Assface, Garfield's Big Fat Heresy, and lots of Heather/mommies jokes... Heather Is Her Own Mommy).
The night's guest was Thomas Ricks, author of Fiasco (finally, a political book that isn't called Short Name: The Subject For Which The Short Name Serves As A Metaphor). Ricks talked about how best to support the troops and the difference between supporting the troops and the generals. A lot of the things he said were kind of downers, so Jon finished the interview by calling him Sister Mary Sunshine.
Jon/Stephen: Stephen Colbert continued to press Jon for an apology to Geraldo. Jon later made a fantastic appearance on The Colbert Report, in which he wore a moustache and "apologized". It was too damn funny. Moment of Zen: Leaflets fly high during the Korean War.
