Rosie said something, world comes to an end
The New York Post is reporting, based on one of Rosie O'Donnell's recent faux-haiku blog postings, that she's unhappy she won't be in charge of The View when she joins the weekday yakfest on September 5. The Post quotes a snippet of this post, which reads:
i saw the new view promos
and found myself in the position
i loathe most
powerless
it will be hard 4 me
2 not b
the boss
it is already
and we have only just begun
Now, I'm not a master of sensationalism and making mountains of molehills, but it seems to me that all O'Donnell is saying is that for a very long time she's been in charge of whatever project she was involved with, whether it was her own talk show or producing failed Broadway shows for Boy George. Now she's in a position where she's no longer in charge, and that's a little weird for her. As far as I can tell, there's not really a story here, unless you want to explore why it is she insists on writing like a junior high school girl. Also, just as an aside, "it will be hard 4 me 2 not b the boss" would be a great Prince song.
