Big Brother: Veto Ceremony #9

chilltown(S04E23) Aw, it's Doogie Howser as Santa Claus. How can I resist an episode where Neil Patrick Harris and Dr. Will interact? You'd expect snark meets snark but Will is more smitten than I've ever seen him during any showmance. But who knew Neil Patrick Harris could do flips on a trampoline? As Will says, "First the trampoline, then Neil Patrick Harris, what's next, I'm going to win the show?" Maybe so, Dr. Botox, maybe so.

I love that Janelle gets nominated for eviction and is still thinking about the next week. She's a bit fearless and a bit confident in her POV skills. Meanwhile, Danielle smells a rat with Chilltown and tries to cement her alliance with Erika.

Tonight's veto competition is the morphing contest. Boogie throws the competition while Erika, Janelle, Danielle and even Will play hard. Chicken George? He's off on Jupiter somewhere, it takes him nearly a half hour to complete the contest. Janelle wins and all of a sudden Danielle and Janelle are embracing like there's no tomorrow.

Will and Boogie work Erika like there's no tomorrow and as predicted, she starts to unravel a bit. Why is she listening to these clowns? She is in a position to make a bold move. Instead she listens to the boys and Janelle who says she isn't working with anyone. Apparently Erika has no decision making skills and with Boogie ready to provide kisses and back rubs when she is stressed, she becomes a lovely puppet.

With the threat of being on the block and the helpful addition of booze supplied by Big Brother, Danielle gets ranty at Erika. Will rushes to her rescue and they hole up in the HoH room while Danielle tries to get in. The next day, Danielle doesn't remove her shades as the hatchet falls, she's up on the block.

How do you end an episode like this? With a Chilltown phone skit celebrating their victory. Their biggest test will be on Thursday when a double eviction is promised. If Erika had played it smart she could have eliminated Chilltown in one night. Instead, I suspect Danielle and Chicken George may both be headed home leaving the showmances to battle it out in the final four.

Last night was hard to watch until I remembered Danielle lied to Marcellas.

She'll get over it. Erika doesn't have to worry about her vote...since...she's gone next.

Danielle and Janelle could not be more opposite. Danielle has only won one competition and that is because Erika threw it, but she could read almost everyone pretty well. Janelle could win many competitions, but is completely clueless when it comes to people.

I cannot believe that Janelle falls for chilltowns manipulations. George may not appear to be the brightest bulb when is comes to competitions, but he read people pretty well. Janelle is the dumbest in the house in this resepect.

Will and Boogie are brilliant and both of them, hands down, deserve to be the final two. What makes Will's strategy even more brilliant is that it is the same exact one he used in season 2 and Janelle and Erica are falling for it. Don't these people watch past seasons?

Janelle and Erica are under the impression that they have a shot against Will in the final two. Now had either taken Danielle, there most likely would have been an alliance voting pattern. Instead they decide to piss the people off they are sending to the jury house. There is no way Marcellas, James and Danielle(if she is booted) ar voting for either of them.

My prediction next week, if Danielle goes out, is that Janelle goes home if she doesn't get PoV. SHe has served her purpose and she is too tough a competitor for Will or Boogie to take into the final 3.

I think Will has the right strategy. Don't win HOH because you have to make the nominations (and enemies!). Then charm the hell out of everyone.

It's going to be interesting how well they handle the "action-packed" episode live tomorrow night. Julie has been a bit off pace this season and it looks like every moment is going to be needed... without errors! I think you may have called it right on evictions, but I'd rather see Danielle go, then either Mike or Erika. Of the last two, I'm sure Erika will vanish before Mike. I'd personally like to see a final three of Will, Janelle and George, but I think the chances are against that trio.

I felt this season got off to a slow start, but it certainly has been interesting for a number of weeks now.
