More reality coming to VH-1

It's always odd when people comment on Dice as though they have a clue of his life and career. Dice has been headlining in vegas for at least the past 15 years and is the highest paid comic in Vegas. His first comedy set was in 1978 at Pips in Brooklyn and his second said was as a paid comic and has been paid ever since. Most comics do these free shows on an off night or in crappy bars etc. for years without making a dime. Like him or hate him, he's the king of comedy and has set every landmark in comedy from selling out the garden back to back on multiple occasions, having been the only comic in history to have his own pay per view event, one of only 2 comics to have a 5 second delay while hosting SNL, having the highest rated SNL back in 1991. Dice isn't for everyone, you have to appreciate raw comedy, real comedy, etc.

Watch the show and then judge.

I don't know why VH-1 is so caught up in the reality show business. And why is Andrew Dice Clay back on TV? The beep button could go overload on 90% of his show, because his comedy act is so vulgar and nasty! I think VH-1 has had a habit of giving some faded '80s stars a second chance with reality shows the past 2 years. Has VH-1 gotten tired of showing music videos? Seems like it right now, since they played slower songs and ballads as opposed to MTV's faster songs, hip-hop and rock numbers. And why have a show on real estate? Aren't some real estate agents a little private? I liked Where Are They Now and Bands Reunited more on that network. The Bands and Where Are They Now shows really got some disbanded '80s/90s acts back on the stage, in the studio and the road to perform to loyal fans! Don't understand why they canceled it. I think that VH-1 has run out of ideas and the Dice and real estate shows don't sound all that interesting to me. They need to stick with Hogan and Flavor because that's their cash cows right now.

As a group leader for a Paranormal Investigation and Research Team, I can say that there are quite a few celebs I'd like to see get the crap scared out of them. I know that the results would be purely entertaining and nothing worth hanging onto as far as serious research goes, but the thought of seeing some rough and tumble has been from days gone by screaming like a little girl and leaving skidmarks out of some spooky old building makes me warm and fuzzy.

These reality shows are either watching someone live their life or someone working...Heres an idea why dont people get off the couch and get a life or get a job of their own!!...Watching people sell real estate??? What's next watching people sell insurance?? By the way doesn't VH1 stand for Video Hits 1? They should just change the name of the channel or start playing videos same with MTV but we know this wont happen.

Celebrity Paranormal Project? Sounds like VH1's sad attempt to take Surreal Life celebs and try to bring back that old MTV show Fear. And yet I'm excited to hear about it.....

They should send the paranormal investigators to the Andrew Dice Clay show. Supernatural forces are probably the only thing that's going to lead to his big comeback. (Didn't he try a comeback a few years back, starring in a sitcom and dropping the "Dice"? How'd that work out for him?)

Most, if not all, of these shows fall into one of two categories: "Vaguely Famous People You Don't Care About Doing Crazy Things" and "Vaguely Famous People You Don't Care About Doing -- Gasp! -- Normal Things". Neither of which much appeals to me.

I know it's your job to report on television, but if you're tired of reporting on reality shows and most readers are just as tired of seeing articles about them, couldn't we all just agree to ignore 'em?

I could get behind that plan, but there's apparently an audience for them, otherwise they'd eventually fade away, or at least one would hope (or in my case, pray, beg, plead, cry, moan, gnash teeth, squeal like a stuck pig, try voodoo...).

Kinda curious about Andrew Clay's show though. What would the audio sound like, one constant, half-hour-long BEEP?
