Big Brother: Elimination #11

by Deidre Woollard, posted Sep 6th 2006 12:39AM
willbigbrother(S04E26) Revenge may be a dish best served cold but in the Big Brother house things are rarely given a chance to cool off, or should I say chill since after all this week is all about Chilltown, that darling duo who have managed to skate to the final four based mainly on their devious charms. With two boys and two girls it's either going to be romance versus romance or boys versus girls in this showdown.

We learn why we haven't seen much of the sequester house, they were in the path of Hurricane John and had to do a quick move. In the new place it's business as usual with Howie and Marcellas at each other's throats. And as soon as Chicken George arrives Howie goes after him too. Big boy is

The veto competition involves fishing faces out of a pool and affixing them to a star. Erika is a valiant player but once again Janelle triumphs. Of course she celebrates by kissing Will. Boogie is excited since he thinks Janelle can vote Erika out and he can play supportive boyfriend. Erika lobbies hard to try to convince Janelle to save her by asking her who the biggest liar is. Janelle's answer is "Boogie" and Erika gives her a look and Janelle sheepishly smiles.

The girls smoke and drink while the boys stretch and lift weights and preen themselves. It looks like it just might be time for the girls to rise up once they start comparing notes about Chilltown's "secret ninja moves." I'm ready to stand up and sing I Am Woman but I'm not quite convinced yet. After all, there's no love lost between these ladies, they've been dogging each other all season long.

When Julie starts quizzing the guests it becomes clear that Boogie is getting ready to let Erika down easy. Bad move. He should have professed undying love and desire to make many, many Dolce Group babies. Will pleads with Janelle to keep him out of the sequester house but Project Double Date takes a powder and Will is evicted.

Will leaves happily. I think he appreciates Janelle's showmanship. He seems a bit proud of her on some level. He definitely was competing for the sake of competing and doesn't seem to hold Janelle responsible. I think if Janelle had been the one to leave her reaction might have been similar. These two are keenly aware that it's a game.Erika meanwhile is the woman burned by Boogie.

Boogie is stunned. He literally cannot close his mouth. It's a beautiful thing. But he turns that shock into attitude rather quickly. He pulls a "Richard Hatch" during the HoH competition and jumps off the volcano endurance challenge. He sits and drinks water watching the girls with icy blue eyes. Either he is really convinced that one of them has to take him to the final two or he just doesn't want to be there without his one true love, Dr. Botox. I feel you, Boogie, I miss him too, it's just no fun without his antics.

According to Julie, Janelle took her hands off the volcano and so Erika wins round one of the HoH competition. We will learn who wins on Thursday. I hope Erika doesn't get a sudden urge to get back into bed with Boogie but I doubt he would take her back since she helped get rid of his one true love.

Final note, did anyone else notice that the Chenbot needed cue cards more than usual make it through her end speech? Can't we vote to evict her for next season?

Actually Janelle was thrown unfairly. The initial rules said nothing about two hands. Erica says"Both Hands have to be on?" and Julie says, "For now, yes." All that came out over the loudspeaker was Julie's voice. The other guest may not have heard Erica's question. In fact, Janelle didn't even know what went on with boogie so it is quite possible she didn't here the question. What really matters is that Big Brother did not state the rules clearly before they began. They were quite sloppy.

"Hints of his true feelings came out when he said Janelle would regret sending him out-- meaning he's going to dump her outside the house."

I don't think he said that out of spite, I think he really believes that Erika loves Boogie and will dump Jannelle at her first chance since she already served her purpose getting rid of Will. I believe this is what he meant by regretting her decision.

Will said it perfect when Julie suggested that he underestimated Janelle. Will told her no, it was Erika he underestimated and her persuasion of Janelle.

Actually if you go read the live feed transcripts, Will did try to tell Janelle that Erica was just trying to win. He did all he could do but he knew if the women ever compared notes, it was over. That's why he stayed up long nights with Janelle so he could control her and Boogie stayed with Erica, to keep them separate. Erica was getting a clue before when she caught Will and Janelle whispering and how Boogie was blowing the cover and things like that. She knew she had to spill the beans to be saved. Plus Will had told Janelle to get buddy/buddy with Erica and tell her how much she hated ChillTown and what not.

Anyway, it's about time someone split Woogie up. I knew Will would understand it's a game and hopefully when he gets to the house he can calm Howie down. Howie needs to understand it's a game and only a game and time to let it go!

Dr. Will is still the greatest to ever play Big Brother. What he can do with just some fast talking and charm, no one else can do. I actually would like to see what happens if Will decided to win competitions.

Richard Hatch bailed out in the Final 3 endurance challenge because he was the "bad boy", and other 2 had to take him to the final 2 if they wanted to win.

I'm sad to see the end of chill town's reign. But geez it took Erika long enough to clue in, and if she had won, she most likely would have voted out Janelle. The boys needed to win the Veto more than HoH .. but they failed. Where they failed greater was allowing Erika to talk to Janelle so much on her own. Will needed to be there telling her that Erika was desperate and that Will & Boogie were filling her head with lies... oh well.

Howie .. wow I keep getting more surprised. Where ddi the great guy from BB6 go? The game is over dingleberry, grow up.

come on...one minute janelle is kissing wil and in bed with him...and erika wants boogers baby...then all of a sudden outta nowhere the girls turn on them????
how much didnt they show??? there was not one shot of janelle or erica confronting them about whats going on.
your going to tell me all of a sudden wil gave up???
and didnt try to convince janelle tha erika was just a desperate old hag lying to try to save herself?? and where was showmance booger pouring on the charm the last minute when he needed it....?????
on the other side....cudo's to bb for having the guts to not try to cover up the obvious..it would have been easy to not "notice" janelle's hand coming off till thursday...finally, i hope julie takes her medication before thurday nite.

I LOVE Dr Will!!!! I was kind of taken back my Boogie. I guess in his book Turnabout is not fair play. And what's up with Howie? I use to like him and now think he's the biggest jerk. George isn't my fav but you can tell he has a heart of gold.
My boy James didn't win it. Then Dr Will could repeat (i can't believe he got as far as he did. HE ROCKS!!) So Janelle better take this on home.

Contrary to the chronicler here, I thought Will was seething about being sent out by Janelle. His good humor was a cover. He's not used to losing-- he considers himself 'a breed apart,' as he said to Janelle last episode. He always gets what he wants because of his looks and charm. Hints of his true feelings came out when he said Janelle would regret sending him out-- meaning he's going to dump her outside the house.

Well, you see, during this one episode, on Battlestar Galactica, Apollo...

(Richard Hatch, recently convicted of tax fraud, did a similar thing at the end of Surviver 1 - yes that's a one! So long ago!)

Howie almost made me sick. I hate to see human beings acting so low when there is no stake in it. I could understand if he was still in the house and things were coming to a head, but in the sequester house? Why bother? Doesn't he realise that they play that stuff?

Personally, I was so happy when George just repeated "shutup Howie, shutup Howie, shutup Howie..."

I can't believe the girls left it until final four to realise CT played them like violins! But, then again, they are in the top three. Unfortunately, it's Boogie they have to compete against, and he's not half bad in competitions.

I didn't really understand the "Richard Hatch" reference, what was that all about?
