Devices we don't need: the belt buckle TV!
You've got to be kidding me.
An American industrial designer in Shanghai has come up with - drumroll, please - the Belt Buckle TV. It's the Egokast, a television in the form of a belt buckle. And, yes, you wear it around your waist just like a regular belt. The designer even says "This is the first media device that you don't watch, but everybody else does."
Oh, great, that's all I need, everyone in public watching my crotch. Why would anyone want to wear such a thing?
They even did some market research, putting a video loop on the TV and going into clubs and getting the reactions of the patrons. And, the patrons were very interested in the belt. But you would be too, if you were drunk and someone came in wearing a little TV above their genitalia.
May I suggest a slogan for the device? "Watch The Crotch."
