Eva Longoria done with television after Housewives

eva longoriaEva Longoria says she's moving on to movies after her run on Desperate Housewives ends. She's just not saying when that will be and it sounds like it won't be anytime soon. The revelation came in an interview with the Associated Press, but this article neglects to mention why she's done with television. I can only imagine it's because she got her first taste of big time movies last year in The Sentinel with Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland, and realized the schedule is a lot less hectic than a weekly television series.

Longoria, who is only 31 years old, has pretty much always worked in television. Her first big break came on The Young and the Restless where she played Isabella Brana Williams from 2001 to 2003. She had a couple of modeling gigs and a cancelled show, Dragnet, before Desperate Housewives made her a mega-mega-mega star in 2004.

Yeah right she is beautiful and talented she is a great actress and you are all just jealous because she can takes care of herself. Also I think she is leaving the show because her multimillionaire boyfriend Tony Parker should have enough $ to Take care of her

I don't know what everyone is talking about...she is the reason why I watch Desperate Housewives.If it weren't for her the show would be boring. Good for her! If she wants to have bigger and better things for her future. You know you can't always do television, because, once that's over what do you do then...get second class movie gigs. Eva deserves, to do bigger and better things. I love it, and she is very beautiful. If she did Leave DH..this season...I'm sorry the ratings would go down. It's her who brings the spark and makes the show what it is. DON'T FORGET THAT!

well she's done with tv cause she thinks she can act I don't know but something about the spoiled character she plays on DH, tells me thats not a stretch for her. Did you see the sentinel?? She ruined a great Kiefer Sutherland performance. All those comments by the people in the movie about how hot she was. She should realize that DH is the only thing she'll ever get paid well for and enjoy her run cause he 15 minutes are about up!!!!!!!!!!!
