Prison Break: Map 1213

by Keith McDuffee, posted Sep 18th 2006 11:21PM
prison break(S02E05) If I had to pick out one person who I'd like to see make it on the outside, so far it'd be C-Note. He's at least smart enough to not look so suspicious all the time, fronts a friendly demeanor and uses his head. Everyone else looks overly guilty all the time, including Michael. It's no wonder everyone looks at them funny.

Speaking of everyone looking at them funny, when's the last time you saw photos of a prison escapee from across the country? I mean, I know there have been prison escapes before, but hell if I could ever remember what they look like. It seems these guys are instant celerities all over the country.

I'm starting to work out who I think could make it out in the end. I could see Tweener making his way to Hawaii somehow to meet that girl he was with. If we believe what he says, he's only guilty of petty theft, so is he really someone who we should see get killed in the end of all of this?

It looks like we have another piece to the puzzle that Michael left for Sara in the form of what looks like a phone number: 736-339-8687. They say it's been disconnected for 14 years, so either it's part of the code or the owner of the disconnected phone number is significant somehow. How Sara's supposed to figure that out is anyone's guess. And speaking of that phone number, how the hell did that look to the agent like it could lead to Michael? Maybe it's well known that Michael has a thing for origami?

And getting back to the way most of these guys look guilty all the time. T-Bag and Lincoln by far look the worst. Lincoln looks like he's the leader of a Central American drug cartel, and T-Bag looks ... well, like T-Bag. Couldn't Lincoln take some time to find a place to take a shower? Oh, and maybe get that bullet wound taken care of -- that might help a bit.

Mahone's connection with Shales is looking to be more interesting than I'd anticipated. It looks like this may very well all come back to haunt him once Michael does some digging, which we all know is inevitable. It looks like he's closer to their trail than ever before, so it's we'll likely see someone else go down soon.

So, what's going to happen with the money now? Could it possibly be under one of those houses? And is it time for them to just slit T-Bag's throat now that he's useless to them?

Yes, Keith, it is very true that everyone else are too suspicous (forgive T-bag, his look is suspicous no matter what :P ) I just don't understand why Michael didn't prepare some cosmetic or costome to make them look different.

I totally agree with (erroneous_nick) that Michael shouldn't be that stupid to throw the hard drive into the river. Somehow I got the feeling that Michael may do it on purpose. I mean, inside the hard drive, there may be some information which Michael wants Manhone to find out and that information may mislead Manhone at the end. (just like the car explosion, but that's uncovered quickly by Manhone) I can't wait to see the next episode.

I agree with you e_nick.It is a great roller coaster ride! Each episode brings about something that is unexpected. I was sad to see Abruzzi killed off last week. He was a favorite of mine besides Michael & Sucre.I wouldn't have thought that Abruzzi would have gotten caught in that knd of set-up. I thought he was smarter than that. In this episode, it seems that the "cool" characters are losing their cool.... Michael for one, and Agent Mahone is the other.I wonder what pills is Mahone popping and for what? He definitely began to fall apart when there weren't anymore pills in his pen.... It was funny to see in next week's episode, that Haywire is at the house, where they all meet up.The last time we saw Haywire, he was escaping on a kid's bike ,wearing a kid's helmet, and yet he seemed to have gotten to that house first!

Oops, I guess I suggested Michael microwave his disks twice. Well, can't be too careful when breaking out of prison. :o)

I really love Prison Break, even with the overstretched reality, because it's just a fun ride each week.

One thing that really, really bothered me about the show this season, and I apologize if this was covered in another article, was the way Michael prepared for the post-break supplies. For a guy as smart as he's supposed to be, it was so blatantly stupid of him to use his credit card to rent that mini-storage to keep supplies in. The second stupid thing he did was to toss his computer's hard drive in the river without doing anything else to it besides possibly format it. Considering that drive has practically everything on it about his plans of escape and disappearance, he should've run it through a strong magnetic field, disassembled the discs from the case, microwaved them, beat them with a hammer, put them in the microwave, melted them down in a furnace and THEN toss the globs of metal in the river.

Having vented that out of my system, I still stand by my first sentence that I really like the show, but those oversights on Michael's part were just too obvious.

There was actually a prison break in my area a couple weeks ago. A guy dug his way out with a can opener. Even though his name and face was all over the newspaper for a week, I wouldn't have recognized him if he walked right into my living room. I guess people on TV just have a better memory. How else can you explain how every escapee can remember exactly what Westmoreland told them? I don't recall any of them writing it down.

i just wish michael would take that damn cubs hat off, it looks so dumb combined with the fact that hes wearing a dirt covered suit.

but i like how the writers have been showing us more of micheal losing his cool, he was gettin to be like too much of a Macgyver type for my liking

It was not Paul who met with Sara's dad it was the VP herself. Sweet episode by the way.

Didn't Paul meet the Govenor last season? Wasn't he the one that told him to ignore Lincoln's pardon request, if he wanted to be VP? Are they working together now, to get Lincoln et al back behind bars, using Sara as the bait? Their meeting was a little too casual.

By the looks of next weeks episode, it looks like they'll all be digging a hole just like they did in the first season to get out of prison.

What a way to reunite huh??
