Watch the pilot episode of 'Dexter' online now

Michael C. Hall as DexterFinally all those promises of broadband video the ISP's made are coming to fruition. Showtime is making use of your speedy connection to offer the pilot for their new show Dexter, early, online and free. They've made the episode available for streaming on their website. Just follow that link and click PLAY. The password is sneak peek.

Dexter stars Michael C. Hall (Six Feet Under) as a forensics expert for the Miami PD, who also just happens to be a serial killer. Of course, Dexter only kills people that deserve to die. Schedules, character info, downloads, and more are available at Showtime's Dexter site. It premieres on Showtime October 1st at 10PM.

I'm very disappointed. My mom just told me about this show and I was hoping to watch it, but of course I can't because I live in England. Argh!

I had the same problem but found a link to the preview site via U.S. Yahoo search. You must click on the "cached" link. Then you´re in.

I liked the pilot a lot, what a pity I have to wait until a DVD comes out. Michael Hall is a very gifted actor, I always knew that. Now he has to carry this show - kudos to him.

Just finised the preview. This one definitely has potential. Michael C. Hall plays the role excellently, although quite a diversion from his character in Six Feet Under.

It's been added to my "to watch" list.

Dang. Sorry about that guys. Being in the US, I didn't catch that bit about the geographical limitations. My only suggestion is that maybe you look up TOR, the onion router. It's an anonymous proxy service that may give you a US IP.

Is it possible I can't watch ANY of these free pilots knowing very well it's going to take months if not years for them to cross the Atlantic and come on satellite or on-the-air TV here in Europe? The whole TV show section of iTunes, the Heroes Flash video premiere, now this...

I truly need a US proxy.
