I have digital cable (but no PVR), so I saw Ep 1 on the Detroit ABC, then Ep 2 on CTV (in Vancouver). In both cases, in the cold open "Previously..." there were scenes that didn't make sense. So I'm guessing the mix 'n match editing rumo(u)rs are true. There are still scenes in the "Previously..." from Ep 2 that weren't in either 1 or 2.

it's called sim-subbing, and they (shaw) doesn't do it for the high def channels as yet....since i haven't watched it yet, i have no idea which episode is on my pvr right now.....

Apparently this only holds true if it's the same episode. Last night my cable company (Shaw) pulled the Canadian feed over ABC a few minutes into the episode when they realised what ABC was showing wasn't the same as what CTV had on. A bit confusing to say the least - we got to see Meredith reacting to her panties being on the bulletin board (not to mention Christina jumping Burke) before we got to see Addison sticking them up there.

I was wondering why episode 2 didn't really start off from episode 1, as well as several "holes" in the storyline... I would have never thought CTV aired the wrong episode! Now I'll have to download the premiere... lol!

Trevor, normally you would be correct on this. Except this time CTV showed episode #2 at 8 and ABC showed #1 at 9. They were both on.

(It's been a confusing week for Canadian stations showing US shows. Everything seems to be frakked up.)
