Yet another Lost guide: Entertainment Weekly in 60 seconds

  • Desmond - LostOn the cover: Battlestar Galactica, "TV's next great cult hit." Hmmm, I thought it already was.
  • EW has what has to be their 10,000th guide to Lost. This one's a mini-book you can pull out.
  • In this week's Personality Test, it's Mario Lopez from Dancing With The Stars. He doesn't have any tattoos, but he carries a lot of napkins in his glove compartment.
  • New on DVD: they give the sixth season of Gilmore Girls a B+, the second season of The Office an A, the first season of My Name Is Earl an A, and season two of Grey's Anatomy an A-.

Amen to the A on Office season 2 DVD - that's got to be one of the most well produced DVDs I've seen. Why more DVD authors don't include the deleted scenes directly following each episode is beyond me. Not to mention the sheer number of deleted scenes available on the discs, it's great. The only thing that would make it better would be if the deleted scenes were anamorphic and if they added a "play extended episode" option to see them all in context. Some episodes have whole storylines cut that are very funny.
