CSI producers attempting to get creative

Yes, yes, am really liking the new stuff they are doing on CSI. I find myself thinking about those miniature crime scene creations in between shows. I have never stopped liking CSI from its onset but I think it's great that they are doing the show this way this year. It's refreshing.

I do watch CSI:NY and like it. I didn't start watching CSI:Miami just because of the Caruso guy but I finally succumbed to watching it last year and it has grown on me. But CSI, the original, is the best.

I think that calling a show whose main in-relationship characters haven't even touched yet a "soap" is absolutely ridiculous. Whatever spark CSI was missing last year, it has back in spades. I'm enjoying it a LOT.

Unlike most of your other viewers, I'm very disappointed in the "new" CSI. It feels like a soap opera. Perhaps it's trying to compete with Grey's Anatomy by becoming more like it. I like well written police procedurals, which CSI used to be. I also find William Peterson's acting to be increasingly wooden, which suggests to me he's as bored as I am at this point. When a great actor gives up, that's what happens. Nope. I'm not into this soaped up CSI.

I love CSI period.! I atarted watching in the middle of season 3 and I have not missed an episode since. But I have a bit of a conundrum, in that I have watched Grey's Anantomy from the pilot episode and it's the best guilty pleasure there is (but it works better with Desperate Housewives on Sunday night's) like many other's I am annoyed at it's new timeslot opposite CSI...and as I said...I love CSI (I watch them all)...period! So here is my solution...I can watch CSI on Thursday at it's regular time and I can TiVo Grey's or watch Grey's...online...and I don't have to miss either show...there by allowing me to have my cake...and eat it too.

I am a huge CSI franchise fan. Miami-well to be honest it took me a little while to get into it, but it grows on ya.

CSI (Vegas) will always be my favorite, and despite the open ended cases, I am strangely fascinated with the season so far. Definetly has more intriguing scenarios-I really like the explosive nature of the Catharine-Sam relationship. I think this season will definetly be related to Catharine all the way.

Season opener kinda threw me for a loop, I've always liked the Nick Stokes character-until last season, but really-how the hell did he not notice Catharine went missing? In all honesty-Nick's character has been less and less like the original Nick since the Quentin Tarantino season finale where he was buried alive.

I am not digging the fact that they got Warrick Brown married off-and so far its seemed kind of sloppy the way they tried to work his missus, Dr. Tina Brown into the mix.

I think CSI may be getting beat in the ratings by Grey's Anatomy (Which I love and they should have left in the Sunday line up simply because there's nothing else on!) because a lot of fans didn't like the breaking up of the team. I know, and I am a huge fan, it was hard for me to watch them working as seperate units.

Maybe mixing things up and grabbing the attention of their fans again will do the trick for CSI. I dread the day when its announced there won't be anymore original CSI because the cast wants to move on.

I still watch Grey's-I just tape it and watch it later. I still think that was a bad move-what are we supposed to watch on Sunday nights now LOL ;) Keep smiling.

I just want to know why you keep writing for CSI when you clearly don't like them. Wouldn't your writing talents or lack..there..nevermind..we won't go there..

I like the new format. they still keep to the theme of the show. The Evidence.

Carry overs from one to the other keep me watching in order.

I love the new format. I find myself wanting to watch CSI before Grey's and I never thought that would happen. Before it was a solid show you could save for the weekend or something when you had nothing else to watch but now it's must see tv and makes you want to find out what happens next. I don't really watch the other CSI shows so I can't really comment on those.

The dialogue could be bumped up a notch or two, but I really liked the last episode that I watched. Murder police rarely solve things as quick as CSI makes it seem, so this is a good improvement. Now they just need to borrow more pages from the Homicide:LotS playbook.
