TurboNick 2.0 launches

by Adam Finley, posted Oct 9th 2006 3:01PM
danny phantomNickelodeon's broadband site, TurboNick, recently relaunched with a few new features. Most of them I couldn't really care less about, such as creating playlists and trade them with friends (I always appreciate a good cartoon, but I'm a little too old to be sending SpongeBob clips to my pals). The coolest part about TurboNick 2.0, I think, is the new mash-up game that lets you create mini-movies by inserting video clips, audio and transition effects. I've been playing around with it, and if you're a young kid or a bored adult like myself killing time between blog posts, I recommend you check it out. The new site also offers games, a searchable database of Nick shows available online, user ratings and content available in other languages.

Hey, when you hear people butchering the English language all day long, it's easy to slip up on stuff like that.

I need to tell my littlest about TurboNick. That'll keep her out of my hair for weeks! Thanks.

God damn it, I knew that, too. My typing got ahead of my brain. Thanks for the correction, it's fixed now.

Sorry Adam, but I have a nitpick that happens to be a pet peeve of mine. It's not "I could care less", but "I couldn't care less". The first, as you stated it, implies that you care and, therefore, could care less. The latter implies you don't care at all and couldn't care less.

Please don't tell me you also pronounce "coupon" as KEW-pon and not KOO-pon, or we have some rasslin' ta do!
