Lost set, stars not damaged by earthquake

by Bob Sassone, posted Oct 16th 2006 4:33PM

LostWhen you heard about the earthquake yesterday, did you immediately think of the cast and crew of Lost and wonder if they're OK? Yeah, me either. I thought about the people, the tourist attractions, the beautiful coastline, and the bars I've hung out in and around Waikiki.

Boston.com assures us that everyone on the set is fine, and none of the sets were damaged.

How do we know this was a natural earthquake, or even an earthquake at all? Maybe someone in one of the hatches forget to type in all the numbers in time and one of those electro-magnetic mishaps occurred?

(Note: this might be one of the very few times that the post here is much longer than the actual article we're linking to, heh.)

Yes... that was the first thing I thought of -- in fact, I imagined all the cast and crew being swept away in tsunami-like flood.. :) Was very sad abt this, and somehow even expected the news reader to tell me about the status of the Lost crew. :) She didnt. I came to tvsquad today and clicked on Lost, for I was sure there will be some mention of this here. And yes, now I found it. LOST, will continue.

The first thing I wondered was how hard would the "News" try to make it sound worse than it was.

The answer: Immediatly

When I heard that there was an earthquake, one of the first things I wondered about was if Lost would be interrupted. How sad is that?

I should hang my head in shame for that was the first thing I thought about as well. But then I'm too TV o'bsessed. If this had happened back in the 60s, I would have wondered how it affected the production of 'Hawaii 5-O'.

As to its cause, I'm blaming that Team America puppet that's running North Korea. It's a ripple effect from his A-bomb test. Yeah... that's the ticket!
