Heroes #1 in key demo, beating CSI: Miami

I admit that at first I thought just another 4400, but I have grown attached to this show. In fact the last episode was the best one yet. My favorite character is Hiro, and now he has a sword -- Wow!

This show keeps getting better. Hiro is turning out to me the major character. I'm wondering about the symbolism in the Hiro character. Dudes, he's like freakin god! While the other superheroes have interesting powers Hiro can pretty much do anything because he can control time and space. There's never been a superhero like him, essentially it's like writing in god as a superhero. This shows kicks serious butt in all the right places. I do get tired of the indian guy with his evolution mumbo jumbo, but other then that it's the best sci-fi show possibly ever on network t.v. It beats out Lost because while Lost keeps us watching, it also drives us crazy, whereas Heroes delivers a satisfying plot arc in every episode.

Again demonstrating just how wrong the critics (TVSquad especially included) were about this show.

I just hope it remains good, or else is given a proper ending (I'll take either or both). --Steve

The cheerleader is hot id hit that

Like you I'm really happy about how well 'Heroes' is doing. I think 'Lost' laid the ground work for this show to work.
The ratings for 'Studio 60' worry me. I think the show is just starting to show how good it could be. But with ratings like it has now I'm not sure it's going to get the time to develop. I actually think the Monday 10pm time slot is killing this show. This type of show would do better at 8pm or 9pm, and could actually do well on Sundays.

Seeing as they're in different time slots in the LA market, how is this pertinent? The show it really had to pull eyeballs from was 'Two and a Half Men' to the extent that their viewership matched. Heroes is heavily continuity driven while most CSI episodes are standalone with a few season spanning subplots. Similarly, I won't miss much catching the sitcoms or CSIs in repeats. There is less aspect of a building storyline to serve as conversation fodder.

(For instance, does anyone think the woman who has been hanging around the Suresh men is anything other than a spy and likely the killer of the elder Suresh?)

Although, last night's epsiode dipped well into CSI autopsy displays. Too bad the cheerleader character wasn't in Boston. Then they could have had a bit of crossover with that other Kring show.

Interesting scene there. They'll show us an underage girl naked, but only with her skin peeled back. It almost seemed like something out of a Hellraiser movie.
