NO, it's not funny at all! He should show some respect to the Irwin family.

How pathetically sad of those who find Bill Maher in bad taste for his costume. I thought it was just and hillarious. Most of us waited during each show for Irwin to get handed a new ass by some ticked off beast, then it happens, and you all act like the Crododile God just got nailed to a cross. I bet Irwin is rolling in his grave from laughter over this. Bad taste? Not even close. To all you whiners...if you can't laugh at life, you might as well dig a grave for yourself, cause it is apparent you will be miserable anyway.

I love bill..but i think this was very tasteless...especially so soon after his death..not funny to me at all

1) It is not a South Park ripoff. Everyone knew this would be a costume before the South Park aired.
2) 1 in 2 Americans may have done this. It was everywhere.
3) There is no such thing as "too soon," for any tragedy unless it's around those directly effected. Immediately after his death jokes about his death were funny. Maybe not with anyone that knew him in the room, but c'mon, your average Halloween party didn't send an invite to his widow.

What's funnier is everyones reaction -- righteously declaring how unfunny the costume was -- which I would imagine is exactly what Bill Maher was hoping would happen.
