Incidentally, I have now sat through four entire seasons of high school football against my will (whoo marching band), and consider that something like hell in itself. There are no redeeming qualities to football or reality tv whatsoever.

When did intelligence become such a negative? When you consider the things that go along with football, is it not better that I learn to sin along with wit and cleverness than from that fruitless lunacy?

Wait...wouldn't Deal or No Deal be a form of gambling? And American IDOL is wholesome? How do parents explain Paula?

I absolutely abhor the parents television council. They are a worthless loud-mouthed organization. They never reply to requests for information and they think they speak for everyone. They just need to remove the televisions from their households and shut up.

The first thing I thought when I saw football on the list was how great it must be to explain to your children all the DUIs, drug and sexual abuse charges of all the players, among other things. Talk about wholesome!

All I can see from their program selections is they choose any program that requires absolutely no thinking and introduces no reason for discussion. God forbid they should have to explain life to their children.
