Who should Lost kill next?

by Brett Love, posted Nov 6th 2006 1:05PM
Jorge Garcia - LostDid the recent death of a main character on Lost leave you wanting more? Maybe you have your own personal lostaway hit list? If that's the case, you're in good company. Tim Goodman, television writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, not only wants more deaths, he's got a list. Thirteen picks for who he'd kill, in order, and with a reason for each.

It's a fun article and I find myself in agreement with him on most of this. The one place we disagree is where Hurley is concerned. Goodman says, "You can't kill Hurley. You just can't." I'm perfectly fine with killing Hurley. It's not like he's doing anything on the island anyway. I'm sure Paolo, or the next mysteriously appearing new character, can say "Dude" and whip up a fruit salad. But maybe Hurley getting killed will finally serve as motivation for the characters to actually do something about their situation.

I think the next people off of the show should be the writers. Lost is a very good show but it is being dragged out way to long and a lot of the things that have happend in the past 2 seasons still have not linked up to the present episodes. Do the writers just put things in the show and just forget about them. Maybe this is why the show is called Lost.
I hate to complaine about this show but lets be serious it is the only thing on tv thats is good right now or at least was good.

Also what is with the show ending until feb 7th? What kind of BS is that!!! DDB.

i vote Claire dead.

The stories are taking so much time, and each episode focus on one charecter and the season is so short to handle all losties, let alone new comers and their brand new stories.
if the writers or producers think this is one way to kill the show, they are doing a great job at it.

Seriously? I don't think you're even allowed to put a _picture_ of Hurley on the same page as you're talking about killing off Lostaways. You've been warned. :)

Perhaps even more could fall from the sky?

Desmond's girlfriend, followed quickly by her father?

Then we could get a tri-war going. Kill lots of people.

Funny stuff.

Folks, they killed Ecko because he asked to leave the show.

More importantly, they should cease introducing new characters immediately. Yes, we've grown to hate this crowd, but that's due to the writers affinity for long tangents that have absolutely nothing to do with story. I loved the bit about Claire going to the mind reader guy (or whatever he was) and how he was freaked by what he saw, even though he was normally a hoax. It involved her baby, the one the Others wanted so badly. Why? Why? I want that story wrapped up.

Sorry, I'm a chick, I like Sawyer. Staying.

Sayid - I'm sick of the khacki wife beaters. Please try something new and jump in the ocean every once in a while.

Love Desmond - let's give him some action!

I'm finding the stories take toooo long to get going, let alone wrap up. It's like a soap opera. They have to do justice to all of the characters and all the stories they have started rather than killing people at random and ignoring the stories.

After the finale last year where Desmond's ex-fiance had him tracked through the arctic and her father-in-law - nothing. NOTHING! What the hell kind of strange writing force just leaves these stories to die a slow death? Writers who have no idea where the story leads, that's who. Booooooooo.

I hate when chicks get pregnant on television. No, what I really hate is when they have infants and then are reduced to NOTHING but "MY BAYBEEEEEE!!!!" plotlines. This is why I am annoyed at Sun's pregnancy- bad enough we already have one "MY BAYBEEEEEE!!!!" character, plus the actress is gonna be stuck in an Empathy Tummy for the next five seasons. I hate how there is nothing to do with a woman with an infant other than to make her scream for her precious baby.

I am always in favor of throwing infants into a portal to Quortoth, or a good old fashioned case of Soap Opera Rapidly Aging Syndrome.

Charlie. He comes off as an asshole even when he's being nice.

"Who should Lost kill next?"

Had a weird thought, isn't this what the Roman's used to ask eachother at the Colosseum? Maybe the Globetrotters should just come and take them away on a cruise ship, one by one.
