After watching the first minute of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie and jumping around my apartment clapping, squealing and giggling like a little girl in anticipation of the movie's theatrical release sometime next year, I figured I should let those of you who haven't discovered it yet know that AdultSwim.com has the clip, which you can watch and laugh at here. Judging from this minuscule slice of the whole picture pie, it looks as if they're making the show with the fans in mind, and screw anyone who comes into the theater who has never seen the series before. I can't imagine they'd do the movie any other way, since a show about anthropomorphic fast food that interacts with mystical and often evil forces from time and space is really the kind of oddity that people find on their own. I don't predict huge returns for this film, but if it doesn't become an instant cult hit, I'll eat my hat. The hat I made of licorice.
