Prison Break: Bolshoi Booze

(S02E11) Finally, the accursed hand is gone! I know, I know. It seems like such a small detail, but a hand sewed on by a doggy doctor has been bugging me on this show for weeks now, and to see it gone, no matter how it happened, is just a little satisfying I guess.
When we saw Michael make that idiotic move in the sporting good store, I was finding myself getting increasingly disappointed with how stupid Michael was getting. Thankfully the writers seem to be showing a side of Michael that had to come eventually, and I'm glad to see that he knows he has to account for what's gone wrong so far in his attempt to save the life of one person.
There are more shows that should take a page from what the writers do in this episode with Michael. How many shows have you seen where the innocent are taken so lightly in the interest of saving a few people? Sometimes even a short scene like Michael in a church can make acts such as these seem more human.
I don't get it. When we last saw Lincoln and his son and father, the would-be killer was right outside the door, getting orders to take them out. Cut to this week, and suddenly he's walking up the driveway. Did I miss something? If not, that was just poorly done.
Random thought: What's up with Haywire?
I do feel like an idiot for once making the connection of "Bolshoi Booze" with vodka. It wasn't until the comments on that post that I realized others figured out the real meaning very early on.
Definitely one good thing I'm finding I like about this show is how plans change. To see that money of Westmooreland's get spent by T-Bag and Roy is just one example of how even the best laid plans can go to hell.
It's amazing to me how easily T-Bag seems to be able to intimidate everyone, even with only one hand and no weapon other than a champagne bottle. Maybe it's the cocked eye of his.
Random thought: Is it just me or was that just really odd to see Lincoln casually come out from behind that shack where Michael and Sucre were?
The sad thing about Sara's storyline is that we all know she's not going to die, so what was supposed to be a big cliffhanger has left us (well, me at least) not really wondering if she'll make it or not. Still, will her would-be drowner have a change of heart somehow? And will he take the fall for letting her go?
Quote of the episode:
Call Girl: "A Cleveland what?"
Roy: "Don't worry -- I'll talk you through it. And we've got a glass coffee table right here."
