Law & Order SVU: Underbelly

I don't understand here(maybe I miss something in the past episodes), I always thought it was because Elliott and Olivia were partner that they can be in a romance relationship, but after I find out he and Dani hook up, I got confused ! why can Elliott hook up with Dani but not with Olivia? They're all partner relationship! ( I know the show will not work well if Elliott and Olivia date, but that can't be the reason in the show) Can somebody tell me pls?

OK OK OK This is killing me, im in England and we have no idea what has happened to Olivia.i think we are only at like only the end of S5!!! I know Mariska took time out to have a baby and all but how did Olivia get written out and has she come back yet. And please tell me Elliot and this Dani girl don't get it on please no, he loves Liv really. E-MAIL ME PLEASE

Why would some a hole comment if the never watch? I freaking love Dani Beck. She reminds me of the butch/foxy lesbians from Holland/Denmark. I knew Elliott would fall for her.

I miss Olivia! I thought that Stabler's wife had left him. When did they get back together?

I really like the chemistry between Dani Beck and Elliot Stabler. They really seem to connect to each other. Beck is a lot different from the other two important women in his life: his wife, Kathy and his partner, Olivia. Actually, Beck is pretty close to being a female Stabler!

Okay, and the kiss was hot! I hope the writers will find a way to work Detective Dani Beck (Connie Nielsen) into the SVU cast as a reoccurring character.

Yes, Stabler looks freakishly larger in that picture. Looks like he's about seven feet tall compared to the other actors. lol

I agree that the promo was misleading. I was awaiting the fallout with Olivia from the kiss as well.

First, Olivia is back -- and had a great solo (mainly) episode a week or so ago. She hasn't returned to the SVU office yet, but it's just a matter of time.

As for the creative editing in the teaser, you're right. It was misleading. But at least both scenes were really in the show.

If you watched "Without A Trace" last week, the promos showed Jack (Anthony LaPaglia) being tortured by a woman. She pours scalding hot water on him (presumably hot) and he gives up that he's with the FBI. In the actual episode, the woman was more brutal. Instead of water torture, she used an electric nail gun and shot him once in the hand and a second time in the chest!

CBS may have thought the latter was too brutal for commercials, but it was a lie. I waited for the water torture scene and it never aired.

I agree with #1 that I felt it was obvious that Olivia was in the squad room and Beck and Stabler were outside, and it wasn't the same scene. But, I was disapointed there wasn't much of a "confrontation" between Benson and Stabler.

I also got the feeling that the only reason Benson isn't coming back yet is that she thinks Elliot "replaced" her, and it didn't even matter if she was gone. I don't think she actually came back to say she wasn't ready to come back, do you? And, I think they are setting up the end for Beck that she won't be able to handle the heartbreaking cases. She hasn't really seemed to be able to so far, so it will be bye bye Dani, welcome back, Olivia. Or Elliot will have to choose.

On a side note, I know this site doesn't review Law and Order: Criminal Intent, but do any of you watch it as well? Last night's epi. made me nervouse that Bobby Goren might be nearing his last days at Major Case. Any info on that? Thanks!
