Cat fight tonight! Joan Collins and Linda Evans reunite

Legends Collins and EvansThe bitches are back. Dynasty's Krystle Carrington and Alexis Carrington Colby have been reunited for a nightly cat fight in the touring production of playwright James Kirkwood's Legends. The production has settled down for a two-week stint in Washington DC, but you can expect to see it on the road over the next several months.

Former 80s primetime soap stars Evans and Collins star as aging movie star rivals clinging to what remains of their fading glamor. The play, itself, is notoriously lousy. Carol Channing and Mary Martin starred in a mid-80s tour of the show, which was more famous for the backstage rather than on-stage drama. None of that really matters though.

No one is going to see this show for its literary aspirations or even the stars' thespian turns. Everyone is going to see Joan and Linda recapture the Dynasty glory days of hair-pulling girl fights in the lily pond.

Apparently, the ladies do not disappoint. While neither is a spring chicken, the first act does close with a bitch fest worthy of Alexis and Krystle, and Legends' costumes were designed by Dynasty tastemaker Nolan Miller. That means - shoulder pads, sequins, daring decolletage, fur wraps and hair out to there. I'm sure the writing staff of Desperate Housewives will be there taking notes when the show hits Los Angeles in January.

Hair-Pulling Productions returns after cancelling production in 1987, 1988, 1989 or so! I think that this will be interesting to see Linda Evans and Joan Collins reuniting for a play. But you couldn't wait to see the catfights they had on Dynasty in the '80s! WOW! They were pulling each other's hair on that show! One of them hurled a clock at the other! It was so funny, but it was wild! Each week, you couldn't wait to see what the next catfight would be! Proof that the glamorous life wasn't as fabulous!
