TV Squad Daily with Brigitte - VIDEO

Yeah, um... "Survivor: Cook Islands" was filmed earlier in 2006 and has long since been completed. The next and 14th season of "Survivor" (assumedly going to be titled "Survivor: Fiji") is what is currently filming over there while all this military coup business is going on.

But still, I like these updates! :)

I think you're missing the point, caleb. She's a writer doing a video blog - not a TV talking head like on CNN. Her charm is that she's NOT one of those "performers".

phew. i was worried for a while that i was the only one harboring naughty thoughts about the cutie in the clip.

OK, think about this: what happens when the wily not famous commentator is far more interesting (and certainly is far smarter) than the celebrities being commentated upon? Dangeroulsly close to art, maybe?

It isn't just droll, it's genius--right down to the minimalist 'set'. White doors and woodwork in a cozy house, and a web cam; un-TV, covering everything I hate about TV. God, what a howl! This is my favorite, whatever it is.

how funny is it that i hadnt even heard of the fiji coup going on? and of course the article breezes by it, as the biggest news is about survivor. really reminds me of 'the running man'...keep watching tv folks, nothing going on in the real world you should know/care about, dont give any americans any ideas ya know.

One minor thing though, the Cook Islands aren't part of Fiji. They're a self governing parliamentary democracy.
